I’m not really sure where to begin with how wonderful Mr Marando and his team are and what an honour and privilege it’s been to be looked after by them.

I booked an appointment and upon meeting him, he exceeded all my expectations. Mr Marando has a really calming aura, his manners are impeccable and he was extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. It’s evident that he’s dedicated his life to ensuring he is an expert in his field.

Mr Marando has been absolutely exceptional throughout (before, during and after surgery). I knew that I was in the very best of hands with him, and he is an incredibly gentle and respectful surgeon. He genuinely takes care of you and wants the best outcome for each patient.

My recovery has been amazing. Of course a week on, I’m still resting and taking things easy, but I’m doing so well – much better than I’ve ever done after surgery (I’ve not even needed pain relief!), and I believe that’s down to Mr Marando’s meticulous care and skill. Every person I have spoken to speaks so highly of him, from his past patients to medical staff who’ve worked with him. And deservedly so. There are surgeons, great surgeons, incredible surgeons… and then there is Mr Marando.

My husband and I both think Mr Marando is an absolutely incredible, both as a surgeon and for the person he is. His attention to detail, knowledge and skills are phenomenal and he is exceptionally humble, kind and a real ‘gentle’ man. He really takes care of his patients and wants the best for each one of them. You start your journey as his patient, but you leave it feeling like you are a friend. He’s more than a surgeon, he’s an amazing person and I trust and respect him immensely. I felt in such safe hands at all times and his bedside manner is first class. He is immensely skilled, meticulous, professional, knowledgeable and an incredibly dedicated and immensely hardworking surgeon. I would never go to anyone else.

Mr Marando and his team supported and looked after me so well from start to finish and I will never be able to thank them all enough. If you are looking for an exceptionally skilled surgeon who is kind, genuine, outstanding, and professional, combined with being honest, having a wealth of knowledge and an incredible eye for detail, Mr Marando is your man.

Mr Marando is an incredibly genuine and hardworking professional… a skilled surgeon and true artist. Every once in a while, you meet someone who’s light shines so brightly, they leave a lifelong impression on you. And Mr Marando is that person. The gratitude I have for him is, and always will be immeasurable.

Mr. Marando is so professional and caring. From my first consultation I was confident and relaxed about the procedure (abdominaplasty) and 100% sure I had chosen the right surgeon. I am writing this review 10 days post surgery, still a little sore but the results are better than I could have hoped for. I toyed with having this procedure for 20 years!!!! So glad I’ve had it done. Can’t wait to buy new clothes to fit my new figure. I can highly recommend Mr. Marando.

I have breast augmentation with Dr Marando 5 months ago. From start to finish has been so simple. He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed from our first consultation up till present. I did not feel worried or nervous when going into surgery as I highly trusted Dr Marando. To say I'm happy with the results is an understatement. Would highly reccomend Dr Marando to anybody wishing to have surgery.

I don’t make decisions easily, especially one as big as booking a tummy tuck! There was always a reason not to, young kids, poorly mother, too busy, too depended on.
Mr Marando was recommended to me and on my first consultation I knew he was the surgeon for me. Apart from being charming, he explained everything in detail, went through all my concerns, told me to get some other opinions, and then book to see him again when I had made a decision.
Well I made the decision and I never looked back.
Pregnancies and diet had taken its toll on my tummy and no amount of sit ups were going to save it!
I booked in for surgery at the end of March. I was a bit anxious arriving at the hospital that morning but as soon as Mr Marando walks through the door you know everything is going to be ok. He has a very calming manner and immediately puts your mind at ease.
The surgery went well, the first few days of recovery are a bit tough, but after that things get better day by day. I’m 7 weeks post op and the results are amazing already. My scar is healing really well and I have muscle definition I definitely didn’t have before.
It was the best decision I ever made and I would not think twice about booking any other procedures with Mr Marando.

Mr. Marando is a very highly skilled professional surgeon he is most definitely the best I have just had my second procedure with Mr. Marando and the service is second to none. From my first consultation I knew I was in safe hands I am 4 weeks post op and have never been happier I am amazed at the results the aftercare from Mr. Marando and Martina are amazing.

Mr Marando is a highly skilled surgeon and a lovely man. If you go to him you will be in extremely safe hands.
My surgery was a revision / repair - I had been to see quite a few other surgeons before I heard of Mr Marando and decided to see him. I don’t live in Manchester so hence he was initially off my radar but I am SO glad I found him. I had been told previously my case was very complex and maybe not much could be done for me. When I had my consultation with Mr Marando he agreed yes indeed complicated but he said he would do his best and felt he could improve things. I am now 2 weeks post op and even though things are obviously still healing they look better than I had hoped - everything looks as it should have been done initially. There is no sign of my previous bad outcome elsewhere and I am so thrilled, but I’m also relieved - anyone who has had bad surgery knows the stress of dealing with a bad result and the guilt that maybe it’s your fault for choosing the wrong surgeon or your body let you down healing - it’s also tough to find surgeons who are skilled and confident enough to take on revisions believe me not all of them are willing or able to do these difficult cases! So I was beginning to panic and wondering would I be able to fix things - but Mr Marando was very calm and easy to talk to. He told me to take my time and think things through, which I did.
When I decided to go ahead and book after my second consult, Martina who works at the clinic made everything seamless. She got me the perfect dates for me and arranged for the anaesthetist to phone me to go through all my questions. So I was an extra nervous patient due to my previous experience and morbidly scared of general anaesthesia but Martina couldn’t have been more helpful.
Overall this was a much better experience than I’ve had anywhere else - I really can’t recommend highly enough. Also last thing - if you have surgery with Mr Marando ask for Fulwood Hall Hospital :-) it’s a small but lovely hospital with fantastic nurses. Thank you Mr Marando and team :-)
