Dr. Alvis and his staff provided me with the utmost care and they are all super friendly and helpful. I have been 100% satisfied with my care from him and his wonderful staff.

Staff was rude, doctor is rude, all around horrible experience

My wife had back surgery a year and a had ago. Getting a hold of their office staff is nearly impossible. They don't call back or respond to emails. My wife is in even worst pain after her disc fusion and they said that Dr. Alvis can't do anything and that he wouldn't see her for another 2 years.

We are now consulting with another back surgeon to see if he can fixed Alvis' botched surgery.

No wonder he has his wife's office (who is an attorney) right there in her office.

He did my neck surgery replaced two levels with cadaver bone and it has been 4 years I get a little stiff every now and then when the weather changes winter time mostly but he was great and I am 100 present satisfied. And about the way he dresses I thought of this guy is a down to my level guy very helpful and explained everything about my surgery and answered any questions I had made me feel very comfortable

Run from this doctor. They act like they care until after the surgery! If you need any paperwork for work or disability, it will take months! They don't answer their phones or respond to emails! RUN!

Very unprofessional, the Dr. came in with a messy shirt, a pair of jeans and flip flops. He did not explain things well and talked more about his personal life than he did about my problem. I was going to have him do my surgery since I was desperate but while I was waiting for the office to schedule it, I called them with a question and they would not call me back. Finally after many attempts, someone answered the phone and in the course of the conversation I asked 'what if I had a problem after surgery and tried to call them, would they really return my call. The girl started screaming and me and hung up.' Also, in the paper work I was given it stated that after surgery if I was having pain not to bother calling them. Really now, animals get treated better than I did.

Unprofessional, lets patients sit to long in waiting area and exam room before he sees you, would not address pain levels, did epidurals and discogram without enough sedation or pain meds, said surgery would be scheduled in 2 weeks. After 6 weeks of no date and staff who did not return phone calls...we found someone else.

Dr alvis was to take a tumor from my friends pituitary gland. He was going through her nose. Well a neurologists isn't an ear nose throat specialists and this surgery required one to attend. Dr. Alvis thinks he's so intelligent he did it without one , hit her main artery came into the waiting room told us to start making funeral arrangemenges

He's rude and didn't fix a thing! He really could care less.

Went for a second opionion and was told I had no surgery. So, my question is what did he do? Terrible!!
