Dr Solyani - you just responded to my review where i complained about wait times and the fact that my mom had to stand. You response was that i need to change my expectations of wait times and that everyone needs to wait in the car rather than take chairs in your waiting room. Are you truly that out of touch?? Firstly, specialist or not, a little planning the timing of your appointments would help reduce wait times. But you don't want to do that. Regarding the seating, if you planned better, you wouldn't need so many. This is not a family member issue - most of us wait out in the hall! Why don't you accept some responsibility and fix what you can rather than either blame others or say "a one hour wait isn't so bad". That speaks volumes about your attitude and explains the poor ratings you receive. I do acknowledge that you took the time to answer me and I thank you for that. But you blamed families, and said " an hour wait ain't so bad". A little planning could make things better - I waited nearly two hours last time

I had cataract surgery with Dr. Salyani. It was a great experience and I would recommend him to anyone needing eye care.

Ridiculous.......1.5 hr wait and not enough chairs so my 95 yr old mother has to spend part of her wait standing up (Richmond Hill). Terrible way to treat a senior citizen...ought to be ashamed

Dr. Salyani is one of the rudest, arrogant and heartless doctors I have ever met. Wait times of up to 3 hours is unacceptable and inconsiderate. There are other ophthalmologists in Newmarket…I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Salyani and his staff are excellent. If you have ever had any medical eye consultations with him or his staff you will be in excellent hands. They treat you like royalty. Awesome experience

Dr.Salyani saved my vision! He is a real life hero to me! Yes, his wait times can be long on occasion but a great doctor is worth waiting for! At one point I was certain I would be completely blind, Dr.Salyani took the time to go over treatment options, and explained everything to me in detail, answering all of my questions and making me feel so comfortable with the care I was receiving. Thank you so very much to him and his staff!

I hope Dr. Salyani doesn't waste his very valuable time on the negative emails, I hope they are handled by an Admin. person. My last visit, I was called from his office for an appointment which was a pleasant surprise. Again, his talent and time can only be spread so thin, and dealing with Admin. issues, takes time that someone else should, and may well be handling.

Wait times are totally unacceptable, and scheduled as such. 3 hours plus for each visit, and he doesn't care! "today was a bad day" (for everyone except him)! Line up the $ signs with as many test as you can not afford. Many are older people with disability issues. He doesn't care. I will never return!
