I’m a melanoma patient. This doctor barely goes over moles and refused to check my scalp and told me my hair dresser needs to do it…. It’s so clearly obvious she just wants to sell you products as half of the visit is her telling you what products you need to buy!

I’ve seen this dermatologist twice and both times she’s only seen me for about two minutes. She seems exasperated by clients explaining the nuances of their issues and instead rushes to prescribe pills to treat symptoms instead of causes. It’s evident she’s in this profession for money as she does not seem to connect or care about clients wellbeing whatsoever. Both times I’ve seen her she reffered me for facial lasering, and implied we should start today , without telling me anything about the treatment. I went to the front desk to book and was told treatments need to be one month apart. Had I gotten treatment today, I would’ve wasted that money, as I’m leaving the country and would not be able to come in once a month. Disappointed with her lack of concern and her pill-pushing antics

Wasted a lot of my time. Waited 4 months to see her and did not even bother to look at any of my skin. Two hours out of my day just so she could tell me that she will see me again within six months or I will require a new referral. Can’t imagine having to come back if she can’t bother to help me.

She’s horrible, she doesn’t let u talk. It’s her way or no way. She comes in and leaves in 2 minutes.

Amazing. Compassionate . An outstanding physician, she addressed all my questions, very informative, did a full body scan and basically saved my life. I’m fortunate that she was the physician to whom I was referred.

Very professional, no nonsense and efficient. Performed removal procedure immediately after diagnosis. Her RN is outstanding, very friendly and knowledgeable.

Arrived 30 minutes prior to appointment 1 year F/U waited 55 minutes to be called into room and watched 7 other people called in and staff member family family member showed up late taken in ahead of others and Dr. Poelman was in room for less than 5 minutes after giving recent history of cancer surgery 8 months ago and asked about the previous treatment of a mole removal a year earlier asked to show were as she handed a mirror told to follow up again in another year brutal. Also questioned why I was not taking supplements she recommended after providing that was not recommended by two specialists after cancer diagnosis and health concerns. It appears to be all about the $ of income from supplements and skin care products sold in the clinic.

As with the other comments, it is very rushed. Your appointment will be under 5 mins. I understand trying to see a ton of patients quickly to clear the backlog for derm but this is a bit ridiculous. Everytime I go I drive about 25 mins each way for my longest appointment being 4 mins. She just seems like she also has better things to do and it minimizes why you are there. If you can get a referral elsewhere
