Dr. Browne has been my primary care doctor for years, and I think she is great. My mom and husband also see her and like her. I'm a handful too with a bad anxiety disorder, severe endometriosis and some other health stuff. She listens well and she trusts me when I say a medication is or isn't working well for me, or when I need to increase or decrease a dosage. She also has referred me to specialists before with no qualms (because I needed the specialist!) I think she is a very good doctor.

I had been a patient of hers for years. She rolled her eyes at me when I told her my hair was falling out and I didn’t feel well. When I finally went to another Dr. I needed to have emergency iron infusions. I could have suffered brain damage from the low iron. When I was telling her about my symptoms for years. She did nothing. It very difficult to get a refferal from her. My daughter needed a referral to the Ashtma clinic. It took Dr Browne 1 year, and several phone calls to make the refferal. Even then, she had her staff call me to tell me to bring my daughter back to her. She constantly pushed the flu vaccine on me and my daughter even though we told her several times we were not interested. She obviously makes money from giving our vaccines. She is a money hungry Dr. Does not care about patients. Beware! AdvocAte for yourself.
Demand referrals and test. We now have a different Dr. Which has been totally life changing.

Dr. Browne has been my GP for over 7 years. She is knowledgeable, punctual, competent and has a pragmatic approach to her medical care. I find her very patient-centred in her approach. I am a fairly healthy individual in my 30's who works within a healthcare setting, however, I have had to put her to the test in the previous few years due to a health scare. She has alwasy provided me with what I need in a very timely manner and provides sound justification if she feels that something (e.g. a test or referral) is not needed. Ultimately, she provides the evidence and leaves the decision up to me. When I have needed it, she has referred me to a specialist and always provides a comprehensive review of what they have found, what this means for my next steps and her professional recommendations. She is not afraid to pick up the phone to go through results. If I have concerns or questions about a treatment pathway I raise them - she always gives me the time I need to discuss these and to develop understanding. In my experience, she will tell you the facts (which may not be what you want to hear), and she will provide you with medication and referrals when they are justified (so if you come in with a runny nose, you likely will not get antibiotics!). I highly recommend Dr. Browne. I am so glad she is my GP.

I do not have enough medical expertise to know if she is knowledgeable or not but she certainly seems competent. She does not hesitate to refer you to a specializt when it is called for - I realize that some reviewers believe that they should get such referrals whenever they want one, but it is absolutely the duty of GPs to screen people so that specialists are only involved when necessary - and she is astonishingly punctual. She has always been friendly to me although I am suppose that pushy or problematic people might not get the same response. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend her.

She has been wonderful for us and our 2 kids. When they were very sick last year, she called to check up. When we were worried, she answered questions over the phone. If I'm stressed about the kids health, she makes room in her day to talk to me. I feel extremely grateful to have her as our family doctor.

As a male, seeing a female Dr. is not always comfortable, I have been seeing Dr. Brown for several years now and I can say with confidence that she has been concerned and helpful in every aspect of my health. I see her every three months to monitor my medications and my health. she has encouraged and been helpful in me changing my lifestyle and becoming much more fit and slim and healthy into my 50's. I am sure that DR. Browne is not for everyone as she is not there to tell you what you want to hear, she is there to help you if your prepared to help yourself! I recommend her.

Dr. Candice Browne is my primary care doctor and has been for a few years. She has helped me through major health problems, listens extremely well and is patient. I also find that she is extremely supportive and also carefully explains all the choices to me when there are different possible treatments. Recently, my boyfriend came to ann appointment with me and he was very impressed with her as well. He said he felt a lot better knowing I was in great hands. She has not hesitated to send me to a specialist when I have needed it. I am really thankful to have her as my doctor. I would also describe her as professional and respectful at all times.
