I had ptosis in one eye that affected my vision. I was referred to Dr. Aroichane and saw her for years. She launched a lengthy "investigation" and urged me to continue seeing her to "monitor" my eye. This was essentially a waste of time as I had the condition for many years and was not showing any signs of improvement. I told her I thought of having corrective surgery to improve my vision. She unprofessionally said "If you were my girl, I would not bother." I found it unsettling that she didn't acknowledge my concerns in the years I have seen her.

I decided I needed a new doctor and asked for a referral. The new doctor I saw was surprised at how low my eyelid sat (covering some of my pupil). I was glad I changed doctors because I had the corrective surgery and it was a huge improvement to my vision and overall quality of life.

In an emergency situation, and with a number of patients waiting, Dr. Aroichane took the time to connect with a neurologist, call ahead to RCH Emergency physician and write a consult for us to take to the hospital. She provided my friend with outstanding care in a difficult situation. Her receptionist was also extremely kind.

My daughter is 15, we went to dr. Arichane when she was 5. My child had a torn cornea and no depth perception, now has full depth perception because of eye patching.
