Any doctor who tells you that hot flashes and night sweats are caused by a thyroid problem is just plain dumb and stupid. It is a decrease in hormone levels and nothing more. When this dr tells you that it is time to hit the door and look for another dr. One who did not graduate at the bottom of his/her class and one that will test your hormone levels so the right mgs of hormones can be prescribed. When you begin to feel 100% better you will know you have found a dr who cares and one who is there to help you and not one who enjoys giving you a hard time. If enough people complain about bad doctors all of them will be out of business because we will no longer tolerate this despicable behavior. Pass the word and do not go to this dr. She is bad news.
