Took my child in for a fever. She was scared. Dr Sorrentino had us hold her head so he could check her throat. He then for some reason jammed a 5 inch tongue depressor all the way down my 3 years olds throat blocking her airway. When he stopped my daughter could not catch her breath and was gasping. I asked him if he stuck it way to far and he stated, "probably." He then ran out of the room and abandoned us with her choking so bad she began to vomit all over the room. He knew he made a mistake. People do that. But to leave us and run
instead of helping us it inexcusable.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! I TOOK MY 8 YR OLD DAUGHTER TO THE E.R. BECUZ SHE WAS FAINTING AND COMPLAINED OF HER HEAD HURTING, THIS DR. SHOWED NO EMPATHY, SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG W/ HER AND THAT IT WAS ALL IN MY HEAD. THE DR. AND I SERIOUSLY HAD A SCREAMING MATCH IN THE ER NURSE'S STATION. I ALSO ASKED IF A PEDIATRICIAN COULD SEE HER SINCE HE COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG W/ HER AND HE SAID "IT'S 1 AM I'M NOT CALLING ANYONE FOR THIS " WHILE POINTING TO MY LIL' GIRL! THIS WAS THE 2ND TIME I DROVE HER TO THE ER FOR THE SAME THING THE SAME NIGHT! I ASKED HIM Y DID HE HAVE BAD BEDSIDE MANNERS AND HE ACTING LIKE HE WAS NOT GOING TO WASTE HIS TIME TO EXAMINE MY DAUGHTER. SO I PICKED UP MY DAUGHTER AND I WALKED OUT.SO TODAY MY DAUGHTER IS SEEING A "REAL" DR. AND IF ANY NEUROLOGICAL THING IS WRONG W/ MY DAUGHTER I WILL BE SUING HIM AND THE HOSPITAL FOR NEGLIGENCE.
