All she does it talk about herself and can be quite rude and insulting.. She is not of any help. It is a shame that you can go through so many doctors/NP and never find one that can help. It is disgusting that there is such a serious mental health crisis in this country and you really do not have to look any further than who is supposedly helping these people.

This woman is unfit to practice. She is mentally unstable, rude and has no knowledge of psychiatric treatment. Stay far away from her if you actually want to get better rather than end up a host of ailments you never had before being "treated" by her.

I think the previous poster had a real bad day. Dr. Phelan has been my son's psychiatrist for the past 10 years since he was age 16. She has been his lifeline (and mine knowing she is there for him). She is every bit the ultimate professional and I would recommend her to anyone needing psychiatric care. Being a parent concerned about her child (now adult) she has always answered my calls or concerns to the best she can without breaking confidentiality of her sessions with my son.

Dr. Phelan is very unprofessional . Found her to be very rude! Spoke of her own personal issues and neglected mine. Money hungry and could care less about her patients. She needs to speak more professionally to her staff. Would not recommend her to a dead dog!!
