Dr. Reff totally screwed me while I was in the middle of getting treatment for my workmans comp neck injury. His only concern was to recommend me fit for work so the employer who hired him could deny my workmans comp case. I have three bulging discs in my neck with one hirniated disc. I have trouble tilting my neck and have constant pain shooting down my left side from my neck. How can I work? He wouldn't dare do this to his primary patients with the same injury. My primary Dr has continued to write me off of work. My MRI exam results would have confirmed my injury but Dr. Reff wasn't interested in looking at it. He never requested it! I had to file for state disability which was denied. I had to appeal and am waiting for the results. It's been over 6 weeks since I received a check and or had any treatment for my neck. My bills are piling up and my neck is in serious pain. Thanks Dr. Reff for completely turning my life upside down. I hope it was worth it!!!

Don't waste your time!

The visit to Dr. Reff's office was an expensive joke. Dr. Reff entered the room without having any idea why I was there. I referred him to the MRI I'd had a few days earlier, and him & his staff were unable to pull it up on the system from an imaging clinic in the same network. Luckily I brought the CD with me...

Dr. Reff proceeded to read the MRI summary report to me, without referencing the scans or walking me through them. When informed that I'd already read this, he acted surprised that patients had access to such information, and blew off a few questions I had.

I left the office knowing less than before I entered!

Dr. Reff was actually recommended to me by my son's Orthopedic surgeon who wa about to retire. Dr. Reff is Probably the most conscientous surgeon I've ever been to. He's operated on me three times; total hip replacement, knee surgery, and a badly broken leg. I've healed beautifully from all of them with no problems. I've recommended him to several people and they are also completely, 100% satisfied. I don't wish anyone the need for surgery, but if you want a good oropedic surgeon, this is the one.

Do not take your child to this doctor! My 4-year-old daughter broke her arm and we were referred to Dr. Reff to have a cast put on. After a long wait, he came into the room full of arrogance, made my daughter cringe and cry with forceful movements, and then said it wasn't broken after all. He sent us on our way saying it was in her head. I kept her in a sling anyway because she couldn't use her arm. Two weeks later I took her to our regular pediatrician who immediately called for more x-rays and declared it most definitely broken. She walked around for two weeks unprotected because of Dr. Reff! Thank God they could cast it without having to reset it. Absolutely horrible experience all around!

Dr. Reff has operated twice on a leg that was broken in a car accident. I've had 2nd and 3rd opinions on his work, and all say he did a beautiful job, He comes highly recommended by his peers, and I do enjoy his dry wit and sense of humor.

This doctor seems extremely knowledgable about his area of expertise. He also runs a very tight schedule and only once did I experience a wait longer than 5 or 10 minutes to see him. As a busy person, I appreciate not having to wait an hour in the waiting room and then another 20 minutes or so in an exam room. This guy really has it figured out how to run an office efficiently. While his bedside manner was a bit off-putting at first, I grew to recognize that he just has a very dry sense of humor and is willing to address any questions I had. Bottom line, he helped me fix a finger that could have been damaged permanently and he did it without taking up huge chunks of my time. I wish all doctors were like this.
