Kirsten is part of a homebirth practice called River Valley Midwives, which also includes Jharna Ahmai and Kristen Bernard. The entire practice is excellent--you will receive knowledgable, experienced, kind, gentle, loving care the likes of which you will probably never experience anywhere else. Kirsten herself is spectacular. She is beyond knowledgable on all things related to pregnancy, newborn care, and new mother care, and she gets back to you with anything she doesn't readily know (though there doesn't seem to be much). She's incredibly easy to talk to, and she availed herself to me by phone and email whenever questions and concerns arose, for however long I needed to talk to feel at ease. Her care during labor and delivery was stellar. She acts quickly and adeptly to do whatever needs to be done. I cannot recommend her, River Valley Midwives, or home birth enough after having two babies under her care. I love them all.
