I’ve been seeing this “dr” for a few years now. I suffer from fibromyalgia, chronic migraines and degenerative discs in my cervical spine. From day one it was like he was a bi-polar, narcissistic, arrogant, pompous a**hole with a God complex!! He LOVES to hear himself talk and you can’t get a word in edge-wise to discuss your own concerns. He LOVES to remind you about the half-life of medicines and the morphine pain chart so much so I have it memorized!! He treated me like a Guinea pig and I went along and suffered so many side effects and tried every pain med out there just about so I would seem compliant and cooperative knowing all along what works best with my body. But this week was the deal breaker!! I planned to be admitted inpatient in January to a facility that treats substance and alcohol abuse and mental health disorders because my major depressive disorder was out of control since losing my son three years ago. However, they won’t let you start their mental health program without detoxing off any and all narcotics. I had discussed taking a “medication vacation” with Haber after the holidays anyways so I figured I might as well. I called Dr. Haber’s office to get permission and the ok to do so and GOT IT! So I went….i only stayed 11 days out of my planned 30 because it wasn’t the right fit for me or the therapy I needed so I came home. At my next follow-up with Haber he came in YELLING at me saying that center codes their billing in a way that makes him and his practice’s reputation look “bad” and he can and will take away all my medications for it! I was fed up from years of biting my tongue for this idiot and unprofessional doctor and still upset about the center not helping me either that I blew up and yelled back and said he had no nerve to yell at me for something out of my control and not my fault, especially after I got the ok from HIS office, and to go ahead and take my meds I’m sure that’s legal! They didn’t help me with my mental health and you’ve never helped me with my pain, so I guess I’m better off dead! And I stormed out!! An hour later they sent a police officer to my home!!!! Because they were worried about my well-being!?!!!???!!
Then maybe don’t yell at patients for things that don’t concern them, aren’t their fault and then take their meds. And oh yes, the final cherry on top……he DROPPED me as a patient after!!!! If I could give this dr a negative rating you bet your a** I would!!! If I could get his license taken that would be even better!
That’s my next steps! Look out Irving Hater! You should have retired 20 years ago you disgusting rotten nasty old man!
I didn’t even mention all the sexual harassment!!!

Dr. Haber is the absolute BEST!

I have lupus (SLE), fibromyalgia, liver disease, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, neuropathy, sjogrens syndrome, among other health issues. I am always in pain. I have been miserable for years. I didn't have the quality of life I so longed for.

I have 2 special needs children as well. I have always tried to steer clear of "pain clinics". I don't even drink alcohol, and I didn't want to be high on pills. I have to be able to function, and take care of my kiddos.

Dr. Haber was recommended to me. I finally got up the nerve to make an appointment. Let me tell you, that was the best decision I have ever made! My 1st visit I was there for over 3 hours. He walked into that room knowledgeable about my condition, history, concerns etc, as did my medical assistant Maria. It was clear they had both made themselves familiar with my chart.

I knew from that moment that I was in excellent hands. He is so smart! He cares not just about your physical pain, he also cares about you as a person. He doesn't just throw drugs at you and say see ya. He wants to help make you better. He runs tests and gets right to the root of your issues that cause the pain.

I left that office after my 1st visit feeling hopeful, for the first time in years. I felt heard, validated, and cared about. I will never see anyone else. I recommend him all the time, and even my husband is a patient there now. I genuinely can't recommend him enough. If I could give him 10 stars I would for sure!

The same is true for his amazing staff. Maria is very knowledgeable and is great! She's thorough and thoughtful. Kendra is also so sweet when I call in! The lady who handles all the insurance PA stuff is amazing and on top if getting it fixed, I think her name is Rachel. The receptionist always greets me with a smile. They all even love my daschund puppy and let me bring her with me (she is my service animal).

If you need a knowledgeable pain doctor who will help you get to the root of things he's your guy. Thanks Dr. Haber and staff for being so kind, knowledgeable, and courteous. Y'all are changing people's lives! God bless you all!

this Dr uses foul language, he threatened to beat the **** out of me 3 times if I didn't quit smoking. imo, this is not how a doctor should behave, there was no need for this bedside manner, period!

The guy is a total idiot. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. Worst doctor, if you want to call him that, ive ever seen. I last saw him in 2016 and I was thinking about how bad of a doctor he was so I just had to write this. I have since moved to Oregon and got a real doctor who cares, when you get someone who listens, and knows more than you do about medicine, that's what happens. Irving Haber is a disgrace to medicine, he should lose his license

The doctor is very rude. He is very unprofessional. He is constantly yelling at patients. He calls other patients into the room and tells them your personal information and has them give you advise. I wouldn't take my cat to these rude people.

This was the worst experience in my life. He talked to me in a way I'd never even talk to a dog! This man is evil and part insane. I've been mentally abused by men and this just brought it all to the surface. His staff was afraid to say anything or he'd jump them . They should have to pay people to subject theirselves to that man. As he pointed out I'm on Medicaid and not worth a lot so if you got $ I'm sure it's a different experience!

Common courtesy is something this staff knows nothing about. Talking to someone from their office is like talking to a 13 year old boy. They will also make judgements against you if they can't understand what you are saying. For instance, "I need to know if you sent over that paperwork or can switch my meds to something I can get." The response, "your just a drug addicted from Sullivan." Well the patient isn't on drugs that get you high or addicting... DON'T GO TO THESE IDIOTS!

I have been a patient of Dr. Haber for over 2 years and he has my upmost respect. I am a burn survivor with burns over 40% of my body. There is a wait to get into see him but it is well worth it. Dr. Haber and his staff are very compassionate and caring. I would recommend Dr. Haber to anyone who is in pain.

I was very impressed, I like how blunt he is, he is real and down to earth, he was never nothing but very helpful to me and tells it how it is, that's what I was looking for. His staff is awesome, especially the nurse you talk to that sits in there with him, she is very undetanding, they are funny and both made me feel very comfortable. I can't believe all of these bad reviews. If you want a REAL bad experience go see Lamb, lol THATS a bad experience. Lamb is very weird, he makes zero sense and his staff (especially the lady you have to talk to all the time Karen is very rude and a liar as well) Dr. Habor and his staff are a breath of fresh air after dealing with that mess of an office believe that. He was so helpful and good to me. My ONLY complaint is the chairs in the waiting room are uncomfortable, but everything good about him and his staff makes up for that. Yes the wait can be a bit long, but only because he takes the time to talk with his patients, he doesn't just write them what they want to get them out of there, he tries to help. So for me it is totally worth the wait.
