I may have caught him on a bad day, but I found him to be extremely rushed and irritable. Very poor bedside manner. I am a clinician in a hospital myself and I understand how stressful it can be working in healthcare but you never take it out on the patient. Currently on my way to another hospital for a second opinion - he might be right about my diagnosis, but with his attitude and dismissive approach (wouldn't do an x ray), I found it difficult to really trust anything that he said. I asked the receptionist to see a different doctor, if not today, at least for my follow up appointment but I was told no. (this also doesn't sound right to me). Up until now I've had excellent care from the Osler system and so I was definitely not expecting this and very disappointed.

I fractured my hip and Dr. Hanna was my surgeon. He was always professional, knowledgeable and experienced. I have seen him while I was an inpatient as well as outpatient in the fracture clinic. He took the time to assess and answer all of my questions. As a retired ER nurse, I would recommend him for his orthopedist skills. Thanks Dr. Hanna.

He filled out WSIB form at emerg aft he had me sign it. Did not ask me any questions on mobility, pain or any other questions.
Had some guy named Bart talk to me and I was told by Bart that he could only tell wsib I had to go back to normal work duties in 2 weeks or wsib would kill them if they told them more time is needed. I walk 4-6 hours for work outside in all wx conditions.
I broke my ankle in 4 places.
I do not trust either one of these people at Etobicoke General.

Dr. Hanna operated on my sister a few years ago and we always found him to be professional, a good listener and especially pro-active in his follow up and care of her.
Dr. Hanna treated her like a person instead of looking at one specific piece of a puzzle and we are grateful for his observations and his taking the time to communicate with her regular G. P. Thank you Doctor as it made a big difference.

He never asked about allergies, and when I mentioned mine he brushed me of before right hip replacement. A year later I was still hobbling on a cane. When I asked him why, he said they'd had to make my leg shorter. He never referred me for any kind of treatment and 6 years later, I am still hobbling like a drunken sailor with land legs. Typical "I am God, what you think doesn't matter" attitude - only brisk and inappropriately cheerful in the face of another's pain. And you can be tested for meterial allergies beforehand - a little too late for me.

Completely incompetent and misdiagnosed a patella fracture!! Kept saying “my bad”. The last thing you want to hear from a doctor.

Had my right hip replaced in 2015, went well. His bedside manor is a bit cold but professional. He has lots of experience and like I said my surgery was successful. I'm now here to discuss my left hip replacement

My son saw Dr. Hanna this morning in the fracture clinic. My first complaint is as usual with clinics you have an appt at 6:30am and the doctor doesnt show up until 7:30 which then throws the whole day off. Although he seems to know his stuff I felt a little rushed out. No time for questions when with your 2nd patient your running an hour behind
