Our unique situation with Dr. Hart reminded us that anyone can go to school to be a pediatrician, but when it comes to the sensitive care of your child, you need more than what Dr. Hart can offer. Though we are certain he has adequate skills to treat a cold or flu, you must consider the possibility of extreme safety and wel-being concerns that may arise during your child's adolescence...In our situation, he had no knowledge of the special circumstances that we needed guidance or support with, but worse, he didn't even offer help with directing us to the appropriate doctors that might be able to help us. Rather, he neglected to follow up or assist us in our search for answers to assure our child's health/safety and well-being... perhaps it was out of fear or embarassment of 'not knowing' what to do. Regardless, we feel strongly that when it comes to your child's healthcare, you need a doctor who is willing to go the extra mile for your baby and this doc does not, even by a long shot.
