I couldn’t recommend Carla enough. She helped us bring our 2 babies here safe and sound and we plan to use her for all future babies we have. When I first met Carla and was asking her every question under the sun she was so calm and collective but so full of wisdom and knowledge. Something that has always stood out both times I delivered my babies is how supportive she is of what your wanting while also keeping you and your babies safety first priority. She is so experienced but stays so humble about it and both my husband and I feel so privileged that we have the opportunity to have her as apart of our birth team.

Carla attended the birth of our first child and really facilitated the uncertainty of my husband and mother! She is very laidback and down to earth, did not push for any interventions and was very supportive of whatever tests/labs I did or didn't feel comfortable having while pregnant. I have no plans to have assisted births in the future, however she would still be my first choice as a recommendation.

Carla is an excellent midwife. I've given birth three times with her. I am considering flying back to Eugene from across country to have her attend my upcoming birth. She also was one of my mother's midwives. She has many years of experience and is extremely knowledgeable. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

I had an excellent experience working with Carla Viles through my 3rd pregnancy and birth. She is capable and confident and her experience gave me peace and confidence. She has a peaceful manner which worked well for my personality. The birthing experience I had at home was overwhelmingly better than my two previous hospital births. I have friends who worked with Carla successfully through difficult pregnancies. I would recommend Carla Viles as midwife to anyone. She was respectful about my own concerns and helped to ensure a safe outcome for me.

I had a terrible experience with this woman, she was late to several appointments and missed two I had to call her and track her down, as well as not being supportive of my ability to not have a cesarian. Her and her assistant had me signed up for one when my daughter was breech at 32 weeks. Also DO NOT LET THIS WOMAN ATTEMPT AN ECV, SHE WILL HURT YOU BAD! I had an attempted one done and I could not stand straight for three days afterward, not only that but when I went and had a second one done by a doctor at a hospital, I went in thinking it would be worse, it was WAY better (and I did not get drugs) Not only that but they convienently "forgot" to tell me that I "had" to have a rhogham shot before the ecv and called me the next day saying they needed to give me one. I had not wanted one until after the birth of my child and would not have done the ecv had I known they would give me a shot in order to do it! Talk about dropping the ball! She is a nice person, but she should not be a midwife, very unprofessional and does not keep up with her responsibilities as a care provider well.
