I do not recommend her AT ALL. Sadly, she is a part of a midwife group and out of everyone, she is the rudest! I was 40W1D and went into labor. She wanted me to get on Pitocin even though I was already in labor already. I already expressed that I wanted a very low intervention birth and opt for a NATURAL birth and said it was to help reduce the risk of my high levels of my HBP. Though that may be normal protocol, I just felt like she REALLY wanted me to go into labor "faster". I did not like her energy and things felt like it was in favor of her ulterior motives. I turned down being admitted into the hospital and so I went home. You can tell that when I declined, she put up a power struggle front. When she checked me, it hurt so bad—she was NOT careful at all compared the the doctor the next day.

I really dont know what this midwives problem is. She is rude and unprofessional in my opinion.

she was HORRIBLE. i went with this midwife group thinking i mighthave a natural birth. at 40 weeks they pushed stripping membranes VERY hard. at my 41 week test deborah reinisch stated if i were in her immediate care that i would be induced "today" due to being overdue even though my stress test and baby looked great. when in labor in hosp. she insisted i have cervix checks every 3 hours on her watch (even though my water was broken,i was gram strep positive,and the other midwives in the group stated no cervix checks bc it was a risk for infection) she stated "she" was not "them" when i told her the other midwives disapproved and that she had "women who were TRYING to have their baby" so i needed to figure out if i was goign to be compliant or not.very inappropriate, and in no way was she encouraging of natural birth. nurse informed me that when she saw my birth plan she said "this is going to be a csection why did she bother to write one out"-very upsetting and traumatizing experience
