She is efficient to the point of making appointments highly stressful. She is knowledgeable to the point of not being thoughtful of differing opinions. She is sure of herself to the point of not reading non-verbal or verbal cues. I will be switching providers because of her very poor, brusque bedside manner.

* More: I asked for an external ultrasound, as opposed to transvaginal, at 11 wks 4 days. I was open to internal only after trying external, but she kept interrogating me as to why I was nervous, stating that nothing put into my vagina ("penis, coke bottle, or wire hanger") will cause a miscarriage. Finally, after stating 4 times I was uncomfortable and simply wanted to try external, she used shaming as a last resort: "I can't educate everyone." The image came out perfectly externally. She apologized, but followed with, "I don't want you to be scared." A younger me would have been both scared and bullied if my wishes weren't respected. Grateful I know better. Wish she did, too.

Maureen delivered both my children and I have been going to her for 19 years. She is awesome!

She has no bedside manner. Made me feel like I didn't deserve to be pregnant since I was on birth control when I found out. Then someone in the office put in my chart that I am dependent on pain medication even though I took myself off all my medication when I found out I was pregnant, all my meds, not just pain medication
