Dr Brandt Vegas caught me when in a medical crisis and helped settle the storm even while having to deliver sad and difficult prognosis. He was able to help me identify what was important to me and gave excellent wise advice. He is teaching other physicians how to do the same. He is also willing to argue without being offended and seems to realize that struggle is part of the process. I am thankful for his place in my journey.

Dr Brandt Vegas was an excellent listener and very empathetic to my husbands health needs. He has made sure that he has a chance at a good quality life and after assessing and treating him he has transferred him to the complex care unit So that he will be strengthened physically and mentally. I would rate this doctor at 10 out of 10.

Total waste of time didnt listen to anything i was saying. Doesn’t seem to know anything and had no compassion and couldn’t connect dots which is what they are supposed to be able to do. Don’t waste your time going to him

Doctor is arrogant as said by many others.
Zero compassion, quick to assume without even assessing.

Most arrogant Doctor I have ever encountered. Wait time was excessive, total waste of time.

My husband was admitted to St. Joe's with a sudden, severe illness. He was in hospital for over 2 weeks and Dr BV was amazing. Attentive, knowledgeable and really listened to his patient. As my husband's doctor had just retired, Dr. BV remained available to him for several months until he knew he was out of the woods, seeing him several times at his office. He was a little late for a couple of appointments but always had his secretary inform us. Given that the nature of his work involves consulting with very ill patients on the wards and in the ER, it can hardly be surprising to any reasonable person that his day might not run to the minute. Being in the hospital with my husband for many hours each day, I was amazed at the long hours this doctor worked. His devotion to his field, as reflected in his care for his patients, is amazing to see. Dr BV also looked after my mother several years prior. Although she was not competent at that time, he was very kind and took a lot of time to explain to us possible treatments to improve her quality of life.

I was admitted to st. Joes after a scary cardiac incident that came out of nowhere. Dr Brandt Vegas was extremely caring, approachable and made sure I felt comfortable after getting shocking news. He was determined to find out more information about my condition and seemed quite dedicated. I felt very comfortable talking with him. A great doctor.

Highly competent, sensitive, knowledgeable and approachable. We're exceedingly grateful to have him as our Mom's attending physician, as well as the complement of his clinical team!

An experience like no other in all my years - st. Josephs hospital. This doctor is dangerous. He didn't know my dad's history, so rude, nurses told me that he's one of the worst. Sends people home without a care if they are actually ready. My dad was back in Hospital (a different one thank god) in 4 days.
