I usually do comment on the internet, but I realize how difficult it is to find good medical providers for autistic children. My wife, autistic four year old son Sammy and I moved from Virginia to Maryland in August 2010. After seeking recommendations from friends and other medical providers, we met Dr. Stephen Silvestro. We were very nervous and interviewed him twice. My father (a medical doctor) also interviewed him. We were impressed by his knowledge and dedication to children and intrigued by his volunteer work with Patch Adams. We decided to entrust our son to him and have no regrets. Dr. Silvestro took great care of Sammy, who adored him (we have since moved again). If you are looking for a pediatrician, I recommend him highly.
