I have been a patient for 2 years and this is not the place to go for help. He does not listen to his patients concerns and then refers me to his buddies. The last referral I received, the Dr. was more concerned with getting out of town for his vacation then helping me. His staff is the most incompetent and rude I have ever dealt with.

Horrible doctor. I only went to him because my PCP there was booked. I am now thinking of changing practices because how awful he is. I should of looked him up on here before i went in!
I went to him for 2 issues- and he only focused on one. i know my OWN body and he didn't believe me. I have never been so disrespected or dismissed in my entire life.

I find Dr. Paul really listens and helps me with any problem I might have. I like his positive attitude. He knows his stuff!

I have been a patient for over 14 years. I am surprised by some of the negative comments here because they do not reflect the experience I have had. Dr. Paul has always been a great doctor or I would have bailed. He listens and orders the appropriate tests when needed. He is conservative and low key. The nursing staff has been excellent as well. The phone and front office staff is now much better than it was. Also, it's great that you can call and talk to a nurse when needed without waiting for a call back. I think it helps if you are a good patient and come prepared and present your issues in an organized fashion to the nurse in advance. My only complaint is a complaint that seems to apply to all doc practices - except my kids peds doc. The wait in the frickin office.

My husband and I have both been patients of Dr. Paul's for several years, and we love him. He has always taken all of our concerns very seriously, and while not an alarmist, he doesn't hesitate to order tests or try a new treatment if we feel that something isn't working. Sometimes I come with several questions, but he always has taken the time to address any of our concerns. Dr. Paul is also big on patient education and followup, which is important to us. We have never had a problem getting an appointment...when Dr. Paul has not been immediately available we were able to see other partners, and have been very pleased with the care we received from these Docs as well. Several years ago, we had a few concerns about other staff, but any problems seem to have been resolved and we are very happy with the practice. Also, nurse Paulette is wonderful, and we feel that we are in very good hands. I never hesitate to recommend Dr. Paul to friends and colleagues.

I REALLY HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH DR. PAUL.TRUE, HE DOES APPEAR TO TAKE SOME ISSUES A BIT LIGHTLY. HE HAS, HOWEVER, ALWAYS BEEN POLITE, HELPFUL, AND MADE SURE I GOT THE CORRECT TESTS AND MEDS.

I do not like Dr. Paul. I only go in once a year although I have several ongoing medical problems. He doesn't listen. Doesn't take time to answer questions. Does not seem to care or take an interest in you.

I thought Dr Paul would be better than Dr. Gray, but in many ways, he was worse. I stayed with him for several years, as did my family members. I finally changed after he yelled at my daughter and told me to keep out of it, shutting the door in my face.

I am still waiting to hear from Dr. Paul - I left a message two days ago. Typical of this office. Never mind though Dr. Paul I have already seen a new internist. Really, no rush now!Dr. Paul examined a painful knee from across the room, didn't touch it, move it, watch me move it- told me to ice it. This was after two months of pain- yes- I try to avoid going there at all costs. He responded to my abdominal pain by palpating an easily accessible midsection but no where near the area I reported as painful. He didn't know I'd had a splenectomy when I asked about needing a pneumonia imm- it's on the chart, but they only look at the last visit report I guess.Being a patient at this office has been the worst healthcare experience I have ever had. The staff are always snippy and rude and don't you even think about asking too many questions or making a comment on the problems. The office manager hung up on me twice while I was trying to arrange my medical record transfer.Unhealthy place!!!

Recommended a Sigmoid when a full colonscopy is much more thorough and not anymore trouble. Insisted on prescribing a beta blocker when I showed him an article that stated this is no longer considered an effective treatment for high blood pressure. Insisted on keeping me on lisinpril when I told him it was making me cough.
