Dint seem to be concern with my infection . Din not get proper care. he was more interested what I do for a living where i am leaving. my infection got a lot worse after.

Was sent by Emergency Dr. to see Dr. Yang at Mt. St. Joseph for debilitating and horrible skin infection on forehead that wouldn't go away. I was crying for help when I saw Dr. Yang. He wouldn't swab my skin to diagnose the problem saying only "there is some infectious component", he gave me a "prescription" for over the counter Hydrocortisone 1% cream which I told him was ineffective when my skin wasn't so bad, and in spite of my having large weeping, painful, itchy, blistering and flaking wounds and skin which area was too large to even be covered by a bandage to go out in public, said "it doesn't look so bad". No comprehensible or valid reason for him not to at least do a swab for diagnosis as the waiting room at the time was even empty so he was not too busy. Left me completely without options for treatment.

Dr.Yang at St.Josephs Hospital treated me various times for Diabetic related infections. He is unbelievable helpful, somebody drove me 70 km just to see him with a bad infection as I had lost confidence in local treatment. And its reassuring to see a Dr. for Infectious Diseases repeatedly washing his hands after he touched a patient or after each treatment even though he wears gloves. Will always go back to him although Fraser Health doesnt like you to go outside their area.When he treats you, you know that your getting the best care possible.

Very efficient and knowledgable. Alot of experience and knows his stuff. Follows up automatically and makes sure he reads your chart BEFORE he sees you.
