Only great things to be said about Dr. Bui, his staff and the team that assisted him with my bypass surgery in January 2022. Dr. Bui is known as one of the best cardiac surgeons in BC and St. Paul's is definitely the place to be if you require surgery for cardiac issues. I was nervous going in for a serious surgery but everyone else was calm, professional, and confident that things would go as planned. Emily at Dr. Bui's office was quick in her communications as well which was much appreciated.

complicated surgery May 2019 went way better than expected, we are indebted to Dr Bui and his team forever. I just had an echo cardiogram in the US for a different issue and the Dr doing it said Dr Bui and his team did excellent work, best he'd seen

Dr Bui did an excellent job on my bypass surgery. He explained in detail what he was going to do for me during surgery. After the surgery, he came to see me and his bedside manner is second to none. I feel very fortunate to have had my surgery performed by Dr. Bui and highly recommend him.

DR Bui performed tripled by pass surgery on me on April 15th. When you go through this procedures it is almost like you go on the other side and back. Dr Bui and the entire team in the Stpaul operation room were so professionals that word can not describes their action . They do miracle. I am due to be released after four days and really looking forward to a new life. I am for ever indebted to two person Dr Amir Ahmadi for detecting the problem and Dr Bui to fix the problem.

Dr. Bui performed my cardiac surgery September 26, 2018 at St. Paul’s Hospital. By all accounts it was a success. The surgery lasted 3.5 hours. I was released from the hospital 3 days after the surgery. It is one month since my surgery and I am feeling great. My sternum is a sore but that is to be expected, but the incisions are healing quickly. Having had two knee replacements I expected a lot more pain. Pre- and post-surgery, I found Dr. Bui very personable and attentive. As well, Emily, Dr. Bui’s secretary was very friendly and helpful. If you get Dr. Bui assigned to your case consider yourself fortunate.

Not sure why someone complained about this surgeon’s speed...that’s weird and unusual and sounds inflammatory. Did he operate on you and leave you injured? Or are you just feeling inept? My family was very lucky to have Dr.Bui and we highly recommend him. He is courteous, kind, knows what he’s doing and did I mention he saves lives? I have no idea how long the surgery was but if it was fast or not doesn’t change the outcome which was success.

Had open heart surgery Oct 2016, Dr. Bui and his team are probably the best available to ensure that a job is well done. They were the BEST!!
