The woman had no idea what RLS Restless Leg Syndrome is . If thats what youre seeing her for...then cancel your appointment and find another Neuro . She told me my rLs is caused by my mood...lol..and after learning I have no numbness in my hands or feet she declared that do not have the same symptoms as her many other RLS patients She definitely has either not enough experience or she isn't familiar with any severe RLS cases (my RLS also affects the rest of my body including hands, arms, shoulders, back and neck.) I've had my RLS since childhood around age 5... now I am 50. There is no treatment to my knowledge except for parkinsons medications and the side effects are horrendous...becareful... Dr Block is a quack

My husband is a patient of Dr. Block. Since the pandemic, when doctor "visits" were often phone calls rather than in-person visits, Dr. Block has continued to use phone calls for diagnosis. Several physical and neurological changes have happened to my husband over the past few years but Dr. Block has pretty much dismissed them all. This is very disappointing to say the least. We will be looking for another neurologist.

Was referred to Dr. Block for nerve pain in my arm. After testing, she distinctly told me my results "fell within normal limits" and sent me off with a suggestion to use a sleeve/brace at night to see if that helped. Nearly three years later, the pain still is a problem. I went back to my GP. When I told him I remembered seeing her and being told it was fine, he showed me the letter she had sent to him following my visit - saying that my testing was "abnormal" and showed mild blockage of the nerve. Three years later, and I am just finding out the actual testing results from another doctor. I would certainly have taken more care had I known this back then, and perhaps wouldn't have struggled for years with numbness and pain. I hope to never see Dr. Block again.

Diagnosis was obtained, prescribed correct medication, seizure free since then. Productive and professional follow up is complete and all concerns and questions were answered with compassion and professionalism. Dr. Block is the reason for having my freedom and lifestyle back.

Very dismissive, no compassion, no guidance. Obviously not really listening to my issues/symptoms. Pushing pain control without finding root of issue.

She is the most judgemental dr I have ever seen,I do ask myself why she is a doctor, she has no compassion at all,she is dismissive ,I got referred to her for a second opinion because I have been suffering from what one of the doctors I have seen think it’s MS,right when I got to the room without asking me questions or my symptoms ,she said I’m I the third neurologist you have seen?which was not the truth if she really took her time to read my medical history ,she is so judgemental, and it’s really sad.

I suffer from severe nerve damage due to complications from surgery. I was referred to Dr. Block and had three initial appointments with her. She had to look up my symptoms on her phone in front of me, which I found very unprofessional. My quality of life is at an all time low. I tried to schedule a follow up appointment but was told too much time had passed in between my visits and that I would need to be referred again by a GP. The initial referral took months for me to get an appointment with Dr. Block. This was a last effort on my part to reach out for help. I'm very depressed and in a really dark place. It would have been nice to receive a helping hand or a little bit of compassion on part of Nutana Neurology. Instead I'm turned away left to start back at square one. I would rate Dr. Block's knowledge level differently if I actually had a chance to experience it. All and all my interactions were poor. I didn't feel the knowledge or helpfulness was appropriate. If I survive long enough to be referred to another neurologist I can only pray it is not at Nutana Neurology. The amount of stress and anxiety this has caused me and my family is unacceptable. I wish there was a competing private neurology clinic available. I would happily pay whatever the cost to get humane service.
