This guy clearly owes a lot of people money because I am constantly being called by Debt Collection agencies thinking he is me (close to same name).

I'm always impressed with the level of service I receive at Modern Dental! The staff is nothing short of amazing when it comes to friendliness, the best treatment, sharing a smile and making it contagious, and making you feel like family--not like patients! From the front desk receptionist, to the dental hygienist and Dr. Lawton himself, always make me feel welcomed, that they are genuinely concerned and that I’m valued! Even if I lived hundreds of miles away, I’m pretty sure Modern Dental would still be the only place I’d trust with all of my dental care and treatment.

I would refer friends/coworkers to Modern Dental. The environment was comforting and staff responded well to questions regarding treatment plans, insurance/billing, and general dental questions.

The planning of my appointment was simple and easy. My preparation for my first arrival was made easy by having forms sent ahead of time. Staff was very friendly and personal. The most valuable part of my experience was the full transparency and direction I was given pertaining to my long term care. I am fully aware of the effort, time and cost in front of me. I am grateful for that.

This is the worst experience I after had at a dentist office in my life. My first visit and there was no one waiting in the lobby and I was happy thinking I would be seen right away my appointment was at 2pm and I arrive 15min early but didn't get seen until 2:45 when I was finally seen I waited an additional 15min in the dentist chair before being examined keep in mind there was no one there but me and the staff I could hear them talking to each other about personal stuff while im just sitting and waiting. I was finally examined and decided to get one of my front four filling replace in which I broke the tooth years earlier and the original filling color had change. On 2/13/2013 i paid $440 cash cause i had no dental insurance to Modern Dental to replaced the filing and cosmetically something was not right but not being a dentist and really wanting this place to win I accept it. Later on after when I would brush my teeth on a daily basis I notice that the filling was very slowly peeling and chipping away on Sept 29 2014 I woke and brush and a piece of the filling came off in my mouth. So I made a appointment and on Oct/1/ 2014 I went back to see Dr. Eric Lawton when I arrived again my appointment was at 2pm I arrived 15min early and spoke to the receptionist about simply speaking to Dr Lawton and she said I had to pay $45 dollars to simply speak to the doctor so I begged and pleaded with her and still no was my answer to simply speak to the doctor. At this point I had no choice my tooth had chip away and I needed help so I paid the $45 to speak to the doctor when I finally spoke he examined my tooth and i ask if he would stand behind his work and fix it, he told me no because its been over a year i informed him that its only been a 1yr and 6 months and that something like this shouldn't have happen in the first place and why would I pay again to fix the same tooth in less than 2yrs. Long story short he didn't fix it im out of $440 dollars and i still have a chip tooth but he did give me back my $45 dollars for just to talk to him. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL CLINIC TO NO ONE!!!

I decided to check out Modern Dental because I recently moved into the area and my old dentist is 20+miles away. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would recommend Dr. Lawton to anyone in the area who is in need of a good dentist. I was greeted by friendly staff and essentially had no wait time at all. I was taken back to the chair promptly after the new patient paperwork was filled out. Dr. Lawton is super friendly and personable and also very gentle which is a plus for people who hate going to the dentist like me! :-) The office is very modern and beautifully decorated!! Great place to receive dental care for the whole family.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Edgewood Dental Center. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the office is modern, chic, and clean. There was no long wait time here which is something I have experienced time and time again with dentists in the past. Once I completed the new patient paperwork and had xrays performed, I was promptly taken back to the chair. Dr. Lawton was very personable and extremely knowledgeable about his craft. He seemed to be dedicated to restoring and maintaining the oral health of his patients. I will definitely be visiting Edgewood Dental Center again and would recommend Dr. Lawton to anyone in the area who is in need of a good dentist who truly cares.

I had a great experience with Dr. Lawton and his staff at Edgewood Dental Center. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. His office is very modern and I was able to see any issues I had in my mouth on the computer screen in front of me. It felt as if he was talking with me and not at me about my mouth and it helped me to understand what was going on better. I was even able to watch my favorite tv show while receiving work! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I recommend him to others!

Wonderful experience at Edgewood Dental Center!! Dr. Lawton is extremely knowledgable and he made me feel at ease with all of my dental work, all while showing patience in explaining to me step by step what he would be doing through my entire procedure. He has a professional staff, and a beautiful office that provides a tranquil atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend his services to everyone!!

Very busy clinic and took me a while to get an appointment but was worth then wait. The clinic was nice, the staff was friendly, and the dentist made me feel comfortable. Saved a lot of money going here and would recommend to others!
