Biography

Raja Nawaz, MD, specializes in cardiology with an emphasis on interventional cardiology procedures.Dr. Nawaz received his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan. He completed his residency at Marshall University School of Medicine, where he also completed his fellowship. He completed a second fellowship at New York Methodist Hospital. He is board\-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology.Dr. Nawaz is a Diplomat of the American Society of Echocardiography and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).In his spare time, he is an avid squash player and enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
