I am the parent of a child with a disability, Rett Syndrome. This pediatrician refused to believe any of the symptoms that I described or the behaviors seen in my child. This pediatrician told me that because I was a "nervous first time mother" that I was causing my child to be ill and cry frequently. He told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my child - only my mothering skills. He said, if I would calm down then my child would calm down. This "first time mom" trusted her gut instincts and realized that I needed to get another pediatrician who would listen and pay attention. There is nothing that he could have done to stop the progression of Rett Syndrome or to help my child. However, he could have and should have listened because even a first time mom knows in her heart if something is wrong with her child. I have zero respect for this man.

Terrible office. They never answer their phones, and when they do answer they are rude and short answered, and make you feel like you are inconveniencing them. Doctors are not great with babies, kind of rough. My daughter was talking to him and he showed no interest at all, barely even acknowledged her as he was examining her movement. The MA who gave my daughter her shots walked in went about her business and even gave the shots without even initiating any conversation with me or my daughter, gave them quickly with no warning, one after another and didn't even attempt to comfort her when she screamed. Office is not interested and office workers are lazy and only return your calls when they feel like it, never in a timely manner. Always a headache to deal with this office, I will be switching as soon as possible. Wouldn't recommend this office to anyone.

These Doctor's were recommended by the hospital when I was having my baby. I am greatful for having these Doctors. They are great, have always been so nice and caring. They always try to work you in when your child is sick. I love going here and am glad that we have them as our children's Doctors.

Get out while you can! Dr. Brams and his staff are terrible. Rude and do not care a bit about these babies and kids. Dr. Brams is a sorry excuse for a doctor. I will not go into detail with my experience but just be warned, do not go to this doctor or the office. My poor 18 month old baby was treated terrible. I had to go get the doctor after he left the exam room because he did not even do an exam on my baby, he just walked in told me what he thought of me and left. And thats just the start...

My daughter has been going here the last 6 years. Brams and Maloney are both great and knowledgeable doctors. My only squabble is having to leave a message to speak to the nurse and wait for her to call back. A big plus is the sick children have a separate waiting area.

This doctor is very cranky and impatient. He was very rough with my baby in the exam. In my opinion dr brsms and his colleague dr. maloney should retire. They are rude, arrigant and do not beluve in medicine. Mychild had an infection and wasn't given medicine until 3 visits later, so ridiculous. With the exception of a few staff members the rest are not, helpful and rude. The office never answers the phons.

My children all enjoy seeing Dr. Brams, even when they are sick. The staff are very friendly, and quickly return any phone calls.

I was so bummed when my insurance stopped covering them. They are the best Youth doctors in the High Desert. I have been going here for 11 years.
