I visit him for an injury, he refers me to get an MRI from Wave imaging. They did an incorrect scan. Dr Rashid tells me that I will get a new one for free. I keep trying to schedule a new appointment but they keep trying to charge me. Ive called Dr Rashid several times and their receptionist said they'll call me back before the end of the day but they never do. Its been over 3 months and Im still not diagnosed. Now they screen my calls. Avoid him

First - TRULY IS ABSOLUTELY ARROGANT & BAD TEMPERED DR. - KICKED ME OUT OF HIS OFFICE AS A DRUG SEEKER AND REPORTED ME TO POLICE!!

I know, UNBELIEVABLE. - But give me two minutes of your time, I'm not another crazy internet stalker. THIS IS FACT.

NOW THE DETAILS:

Dr. Rashid has been my family practitioner for 11 years and all of us have respected and followed his every word.

I have been suffering from major sciatica pain down my left leg to the degree that at times I can't even eat dinner unless I lay face down on my bed and only lift my head up for a bite.

Had to close my manufacturing company which we supply over 200 public schools with a food product.

Have been on 15mg to 20mg of Percocet every 6 hours, have 6 MRI's & two self-paid Surgeon Consultations that say I need surgery yesterday - in the last year alone.

One year ago I ended up paying for my own "Endoscopic Surgery" to cut down a ruptured disk (L4/L5) down to size (have been run around with Obamacare for 1 1/2 years).

WHEN 1st INJURED - NOV 14' DR RASHID KICKED ME OUT OF HIS OFFICE and told me to take 800mg of Ibuprophen.

I WAS UPSET and changed my "Primary" physcian.

LAST MONTH I WAS KICKED OUT OF DR RASHID's OFFICE as a DRUG SEEKER & DR. SHOPPER,

He, his assistants & my ins. co case mgr have been involved with every prescription that was written - including several written by my previous surgeon & other pain specialists).

I went to his office because I could not get a prescription from the Pain Specialist for more than 10mg of percocet and it took at least 15mg to dull my pain every 6 hours.

He got upset when I asked & then it was all over with this hot headed arrogant condensending man from the middle east!

He told his assistant to run a "consolidated narcotics report" & came out of his office with it - all red faced & practically foaming at the mouth.

He lined up the two pages wrong and pointed at the last prescription of 180 Percocet 3 weeks ago that he wrote me and said "who is Dr. Geralyi?". I said "he is a prior Pain Specialist I was going to".

He said I was lying to him & that Dr. Gerayli prescribed 180 10mg percocet last month. He said I was trying to lie & argue with the wrong person - no matter how hard I tried to tell him he wrote the prescription??!

He kicked me out of his office and was discussing all of this in front of his patients.

In violation of the HIPAA regulations & I filed a complaint vs. Dr. Rashid with the California Board of Medicine & HIPAA Federal Regulators.

THIS BEHAVIOR IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE - He has not only abandoned me but is also trying to destroy my ability to get medical care via comments on my medical records.

I still have not seen a surgeon under my insurance plan.

HAVE HAD 3 so called "PAIN SPECIALIST" under my insurance before finding Dr. Germanovich.

In the last 6 months I have had TWO SURGEONS, which I paid for, INDICATE THAT I NEED SURGERY ASAP.

Also - currently have NO PAIN SPECIALIST VIA MY INSURANCE COMPANY because they thought I was a drug seeker and after 2 years of them doing nothing, my case mgr accuses me of "trying to drive my own care"??

ENTER DR GERMANOVICH - A TRUE RENAISSANCE PHYSICIAN - for whom I am paying for personally as well (and he is worth every penny).

HE DID THE FOLLOWING:

A) Was first physician to explain to me WHAT THE PERCOCET (an opiate) was ACTUALLY DOING TO ME. He drew a picture and told me that the more Percocet I take the more receptors will build up along my spine and mid-brain (I believe he said). They build up at the same rate on both parts of the nervous system, but the mid-brain is much smaller. The mid-brain has a nerve going from it to the diaphragm which controls your breathing. When the mid-brain is completely covered with receptors - this signal is blocked to the diaphragm and you stop breathing while sleeping and die in your sleep.

In the style of Ronald Reagan ("WELLLLLL" - I NEVER TOUCHED ANOTHER PERCOCET AGAIN).

Why can't all Dr.'s treat us like Dr. Germanovich? Some of us are live thinking beings.

Instead - DR's LIKE DR. RASHID think they are the only ones capable of understanding somewhat complex issues - and the required patient communication mostly involves just barely scratching the surface of most medical subjects.

B) DR GERMANOVICH PUT ME ON METHADONE RIGHT AWAY AND GABAPENTIN TO CONTROL THE SEVERE NERVE PAIN (SCIATICA) I WAS EXPERIENCING.

Haven't looked back since - feel almost perfect!! I FEEL LIKE I HAVE A MONKEY OFF MY BACK" (NOT THE PERCOCET but THE SYSTEM that TREATS A PATIENT IN TRUE PAIN LIKE A CRIMINAL (AS DR.RASHID DID - instead of STEERING THEM IN A BETTER DIRECTION).

C) One month later - Dr. Germanovich is increasing my nerve pain meds & decreasing my Methodone.

I am not sure if I need surgery although my MRI's say I do.

STAY AWAY FROM DR. RASHID - HIS TEMPER WILL ENDANGER YOUR HEALTHCARE BY CLOUDING HIS PERCEPTIONS & METHODS!!!!
