Wish i'd read all these comments years ago! So sorry she inflicted her arrogance on other people too! I could list a long line of complaints...

I recently passed by a northside medical centre at which I was a patient a few years ago and noticed that Dr Judy Fernando's name was no longer listed; I wondered where she'd gone... I had previously been hospitalised with a life-threatening condition from which I was still recovering; I was seen twice by Dr Judy Fernando when my regular G.P. was unavailable... After the second appointment with Dr Fernando, I went home and immediately began looking online for a new G.P. at another medical centre - to which I then requested that my files were transferred. I'm sure Dr Fernando wasn't familiar with my medical history, and I was absolutely livid and disgusted with what she said to me; I came to be treated, not insulted! The previous commenter used the words "contempt" and "rude"; those are exactly the words I would use to describe Dr Judy Fernando's attitude.

Disgusting experience with Dr Fernando, to treat a patient with such contempt is a disgrace to the profession. I had been attending this same practice for 20 years since my children were born (when it first started at Hendra with Dr Nolan and then moved to Hamilton with Dr Cunningham), then Dr Fernando took over 3 or so years ago. Everything was fine with her until I had to make an insurance claim, then she completely wiped me, she was rude to me and even now she won't respond to my insurance company trying to get information from her. She is only interested in making a quick $, when it comes time that she may need to do extra work, she is not interested and does not care at all about the patients health. She is in the wrong profession.

I was dissappointed when I followed this Doctor from a northern suburb' s clinic where I found her to be friendly and helpful to her new Hamilton clinic where I have experienced her service as inconsistent and unprofessional. From my experience this new clinic is a business for industrial medicine. I would not recommend
as a family GP

I visited this Doctor at a suburbsn clinic years ago and found her friendly and helpful however when I visited her at her new Hamilton clinic my experiences were inconsistent. I was not impressed with her manner when my 13 year old son became anxious during a vaccination consult. I found it unprofessional when her husband/ receptionist called me in my car five minutes after I left an appointment to tell me I was no longer eligible for bulkbilling. My final visit after that reinforced that her manner no longer instilled my trust as a patient.

Dr Judy Fernando is fantastic doctor. She is very caring and very good. I will recommend her heighley.

Dr. Judy Fernando is very professional . She would not let system been used . She will explained things black and white . If people don't like her means something wrong with them . They don't deserve to see her . Go somewhere else rather than winging .

Negligent doctor. I told a few friends about my poor experience there. Judy personally made a threatening phone call to me today about a review I did not write, demanding I take it down. Very unprofessional behaviour.

Not a friendly kid doctor. She gets everything wrong. Just worried about money now paitents . Can't handle little kids how are they meant to get checked than??
