I've had a low back injury for decades. As a result, I've gone to chiropractors in three cities: Philadelphia, Los Angeles and now the Portland Metro area. This is the first time I've ever written a review for any of my chiropractors and trust me: I've had a few rock stars in my time on the table.

Without question: Dr. Neuman is the most talented, kind and effective practitioner from whom I've received treatment. I grew up in a medical family: my dad was a D.O. and my mom was a nurse. Eric knows what he's talking about due to deep knowledge of the human body. That's very clear. When my pars fracture gets inflamed, I essentially can't function. After one treatment from Eric I was both walking and sleeping without much pain. That's not an exaggeration. And it's the reason I continue to visit him for tune-ups in both of his offices. He's like a miracle worker for me.

At this point, I've seen him for about two years and go about once a month for upkeep and realignment or when I need relief from a flare up. Every visit relieves my pain within hours. I wish I could explain how or why, but here's what I do know: he's talented, knowledgeable, PATIENT with me and all my questions and more kind than most people I meet socially.

I can't recommend him and his staff at both of his locations enough.

I was hurt on the job last year and immediately went to the emergency room. I was diagnosed with a low back sprain and disc bulge. I was then sent to a rehab center where two MDs pumped me full of medication and pointless rehab exercises. After 3 weeks of pain and sickness from all the meds, I called Dr. Eric Neumann's office on the advise of one of my friends who sees him regularly. I was hesitant to call because I haven't seen a chiropractor before, but I had nothing to lose. The first few treatments only gave me temporary relief, but Dr. Neumann insisted to stick with the plan. After 4 weeks I was able to return to work with only mild pain. I am now fully recovered and back to where I was before my injury. He also went out of way to talk to the insurance company and my employer to explain what was going on. I would highly recommended Dr. Neumann to anyone and everyone.

The range of movtion in my neck was reduced to a point that i could not do shuolder check any more without severe pain during driving . After seeing Dr.Eric Neumann , he initially did some massage and active release tecqniue and followed with afew adjustments and as well advised me on my nutritional needs and addtional suppliments plus daily workout and exersize and life style change, my range of motion is now 100% and i have lost 20Lbs since i started to change my diet and exersize ,now almost after one year I am pain free , Thanks to Dr.Eric Neumanns therapy

I went to Dr. Neumann because their website advertises a non-surgical alternative for carpal tunnel. (He was apparently totally unaware of what the website says, by the way.) During my first (and only visit), he basically told me that because I'm vegan and don't eat meat, I therefore have a vitamin deficiency which is causing my arms to hurt. I tried to explain that a naturopath has already run blood tests for deficiencies and anything else that can affect my arm pain, not to mention that she approves of my diet and the vitamins that I take. But he pretty much ignored most of what I told him. He also insisted on me getting a vitamin shot when he's not really in the right field to suggest such treatments. Overall, I felt patronized and not at all listened to. I cancelled my follow-up appointment because even if he was able to treat my arms, I don't enjoy going to a doctor that's going to bully me. I don't recommend seeing this chiropractor.
