I have displeasure of working with Dr. Gore as a nurse in a hospital. He’s rude, degrading, & wildly inappropriate. Frankly, I don’t know how he has a job. I’ve been a victim of his bullying and name calling on the floor in front of other colleagues, patients & family members. Aside from his disgusting behavior, I’ve witnessed him mix up information in patients rooms & start talking about the wrong patient. He is not compassionate in the slightest. He’s loud, has no respect for others & likes to draw attention to himself. Once a patient of my colleague’s had just died & the family was outside the room upset and asking questions about organ donation. Dr. Gore was parading down the hall singing and actually whistling. I asked him to please lower his voice out of respect for the family in the hall because someone had just died. He told me to “not be so sensitive” because “that’s life.” If you’re looking for a compassionate doctor who truly cares, DO NOT chose Dr. Gore.

We saw this doctor a number of times for Leukemia treatment. We were told he was highly regarded in his field. This may be true, but our interactions with him were difficult and frustrating. He was often impatient, and lacked compassion. He made no effort to follow his patient's progress and every time we met with him, it was almost as if for the first time because he had not even read the chart or been briefed on progress before walking in the room. Because of this, he sometimes made errors and we often doubted he was making a sincere effort to provide optimal treatment. - I might recommend Dr.Gore for a one time visit about a course of action, but not to have him as your oncology doctor or to enter into one of his clinical trials.
