Completely incompetent. Due to his uncaring attitude or the ability to listen, he cost me over 10 thousand dollars in back pay from odsp. Not only did he not fill the forms out properly, he left most of it blank and didn't return the completed form til months later. I got denied and had to appeal twice. I finally had a tribunal hearing. He was supposed to have a completed medical report done for me for the hearing. He had 3 months to do it and of course never did it. This slowed the process down for 2 damn years. So no he should get out of family medicine and stick to emerg like you were. He is clueless on a wide range of health issues including mental health.
I'd rather have NO doctor rather than a dr who doesn't give a crap. As far as his staff, they are all great except for that ignorant, unfriendly receptionist.

I owe my life to Dr. Lane, he really cares about his patients and because of this I got a quick diagnosis which almost definitely increased my life expectancy. Kim is absolutely amazing and always helpful (new receptionist not so much, she’s actually quite rude)

I don't think it would be possible for Dr. Lane to care less about his job or his patients at this point. It's quite pathetic actually. It's time for him to retire.

I am very happy to have Dr. Lane as my family Dr. He is a very nice doctor to be honest. Thankfully I only see him maybe once a year but he always remembers me . Great nurses as well. Happy to have this guy.

Stay away if you can. Horrible at his "Job". Passes the buck to others and very clueless when it comes to anything. Simply put hes a pill pusher and then doesn't listen to what the issues are at hand. Very sad

Dr. Lane is knowledgeable, kind, empathetic, man who has treated me with grace. He is a remarkable doctor and human being. His staff is nice and courteous. I never have to wait long periods to see him and the phone appointments are great. He is well spoken on the phone and easily understood.

Dr. Lane has gone above and beyond for me over the past 5 years. He does his research and received positive feedback by 3 different specialists I recently saw in southern ont. He has never given up on finding a diagnosis for me and his genuine, compassionate, knowledge and understanding. speaks volumes to me as his patient!

Dr. Lane has always listened and helped with any issue I've wanted to discuss. He takes your opinion seriously, staff are excellent, not usually a long wait in the waiting room. Highly recommend him!
