I’ve tried to get muscle and shoulder tightness resolved with Dr Coats for 7 months I asked for scans such as MRI’s, X-Rays, etc. I went to a chiropractor and had some scans done and there was so many problems with my back, shoulders, and neck. He sent me to physical therapy, put me on gabapentin which isn’t for muscle and shoulder tightness. He told me to just take more gabapentin and nothing was still resolved. My physical therapist messaged Coats for better treatment and medication, never replied. I decided to contact him myself after 3 weeks and told him that it’s not working and it’s getting really stressful, and he said, “why don’t you go ask your psychiatrist about your pain. I’m not doing anything anymore.” A psychiatrist doesn’t even figure pain out! If you’re looking for a doctor, do not go to Dr. Coats whatsoever. Highly malpracticed, offensive, throws you out, and can’t get anything resolved when it comes to pain and tightness.

This office is great at diagnosis, however, it is not the doctor that I see. In the last three years I have gone to the office only a few times and only seen the doctor 2 times. I have a very painful problem for the last two weeks and have called 5 times to see the doctor. I have been sent to the lab for tests, to the hospital for other test, but I have not seen a doctor yet. Today I was told after having an ultra sound to go home, take my meds, and use ice of heat (which evermakes it feel best and then wait for the doctor's call. I was also told that MY doctor was out of the office for a week. This does not help with MY pain. I need to see a doctor and find out why I am bleeding behind my knee. This I found out from the tech. person.
