Consideration the amount of time Gildenhar spent in medical school, this guy needs a course in customer service. I came in with my father to help him translate. Gildenhar yelled at my father when he needed him to look at certain places during the eye exam. My father has a language barrier problem and a vision problem BUT is not deft. He mostly communicated with his assistance and totally disregarded his patient. He was rude and obnoxious throughout the whole exam. His assistant apologized for his behavior when she walked us out. The amount of patient-physician face time is probably less then 15 minutes. His assistant did most of the work. My dad needs another exam in a year, and no way in hell will I take him back to Gildenhar's cascade eye&skin centers. I rather take my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, there is no zero rating on here, because that is what i would rate Gildenhar. He has no bed side manner. He is rude, and mean.

I have seen Dr. Gildenhar on several occasions and he is always friendly, professional and answers all my questions. I think he is great!

He is by far the rudest doctor I have ever met in my life. How people with absolutely no bedside manners can graduate from med school is beyond me. Was very rude and curt when I asked questions, did not introduce himself and dismissed my questions as if I were a moron. If you want to feel like dirt go see Dr. Mark Gildenhar! His speciality is Rudeness, with a giant capital R.
