It was suggested that I see Dr. Farrell by a surgeon in Winston-Salem for another opinion due to a very complicated surgical history, instead of really wanting to help, told me I needed to stick with one physician - my physician was the one who told me to go see him. Sorry, but not everyone doctor shops - some of us are actually looking for a resolution to the problem that is the result of an incompetent surgeon in Asheville

Dr. Farrell is simply AWESOME...He performed a Heller's Myotomy with a partial fundoplication for my Achalasia...It was relatively painless and the staff took great care of me...I was able to go home after only one night...He was very friendly, personable, and VERY knowledgeable...Hat's off to Doc...Should have done it a long time ago

Performed my laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery. Surgery scheduled within 2 weeks after I had my first visit with him & it was a definite success. Before, during, and after...couldn't ask for a better surgeon.
