Dr Caster helped my husband and I in a very difficult time. He was very professional and the advice he gave us helped tremendously. We will never forget what he did for us

My experience with Dr Caster was like a seesaw. Back in 2009 he was supposed to have filled out paperwork for the VA and submitted and he never did. Please does anyone have a current contact method for him? Any help would be extremely grateful. It doesn't matter if he's still practicing or not he will still have his records or be able to access them and that's what I need.

Dr Caster caused me to lose my job of 15 years because he refused to make ONE phone call to my insurance company. The one time they reached them he told them they insulted him by questioning his authority and expertise, hung up in them and refused to talk to them again. Despite my begging him to call them and even crying in his lobby, he callously walked right by me as if he didn’t even know me despite my having been seen by him for over a year. He was insensitive and overly critical at my visits. On one occasion he asked me if I was anxious or depressed. I said depressed and then continued on after a pause to say that I was sometimes anxious as well. He yelled NO at me and told me “too late, you already picked depressed, you can only choose one”. Huge waste of time and money and I was not experienced in having a psych dr so I didn’t realize how bad he was.

I saw Dr. David Caster as a 22-year-old many decades ago. I am now 64 years old. I can honestly say that he was not a good Dr. He prescribed medications that in my opinion then and even now made me worse. He was impatient and even rude at times. He never recommended any type of support groups such as Alanon which In hindsight would have benefited me greatly as a young wife married to an alcoholic. I believe he had the opportunity to guide me in many ways to outside sources for education and support. He didn't. He was, in essence, a drug pusher. Sad, but true. I am sorry to hear he is still practicing.

I've been seeing Dr Caster for about 4 years. Very nice man always on time. Staff is completely useless. Can never get her to do anything correctly. Ignores the ringing phone does not return calls doesn't call my pharmacy back...as good as he is I'm going to try to find a new psychiatrist.

Dr Caster is a good doctor, but he is horribly unorganized as is his staff. He is out of the office more often than not, recently he wrote my monthly prescription of adderall and I took it to the pharmacy and was told that he wrote the script wrong so they needed to contact him. Later they called me and told me they can't fill it because my doctor's office is closed for the next week. The next month I called to get my script and no one returned my calls. I finally got a call back 6 days after my first message and was told that the doctor would write the script the next day, at this point I had been out of my meds for 2 days. The next day the doctor wrote the script, but for the wrong med. I had to wait for him to get back from lunch to rewrite it, brought it to the pharmacy to be told it was written wrong again, I ended up having to miss work that day because I took 6 hours to get my meds, I'm finding a new Dr that can handle doing his job so I'm not left with adderall withdrawals.

Dr. Caster has changed our life for the better. He continues to help my fiance (who is bipolar) and I all the time. He respects your time and also cares about your quality of life.

This man does nothing but throw medicine at you. I have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder. I saw this doctor for about 2 1/2 years. By the time I left his practice, I was on 7 different antidepressants and anti-psychotics. My new psychiatrist slowly weaned me off all but one medication and added another antidepressant. I have never felt better. This doctor doesn't have any patience if you don't respond immediately. Please be careful.
