Dr Franzoni has been very helpful and caring regarding my health. She is very knowledgeable and thoroughly researches her decisions. We cant expect people to know everything. I appreciate that she takes her time to be accurate, instead of just giving any answer. I have recommended her to others many times.

Dr. Franzoni is extremely knowledgeable to the point where she almost can't judge how much a person can absorb in one appointment. I see comments on here about similar treatment plans, and I think people don't necessarily understand that, in naturopathic medicine, gut health is considered of utmost importance. It's the foundation of health and she's working from that point of view. My best guess is this is the "template" being described. A regimen to heal the gut would probably be very similar for any two people, and you can expect, unless you've already focused on gut health recently, that she'll want to start with that for you...and it's not a scam. She believes what she is suggesting for you, it isn't random, and you will probably see positive changes if you do what she advises. However. Not everyone who walks in the door is going to be looking to immerse himself in an expensive, all-consuming, lifestyle-changing project. I'm sure some people have smaller issues and really aren't expecting a complete health makeover. I wasn't, and I was clear about what I wasn't willing or able to do. What she did was listen, run tests, and help me get a diagnosis for some ongoing health problems my PCP didn't take seriously and should have. In the end, it helped me get referred to a specialist who could help me and I take a couple of vitamins that I feel better when I take than when I don't. If you go to her, expect a LOT of information to come at you, expect that she will have a lot of vitamin recommendations (the appointment won't be the crazy $700 bill the person below is ranting about, but the vitamins could add up if you have a lot of things going on. You are not forced to purchase them.), and expect to do a lot of blood work that, if you have some kind of chronic mystery condition like me, might make all the difference. But also be clear about your financial constraints. Don't wait until the end of your appointment to be shocked by the cost of her recommendations. There's no haggling at the front desk that will make any difference, and only she can break down what's most critical if you need to pick and choose what to focus on. Do your due diligence with whatever blood tests she recommends. Talk to your insurance company if you have to. And if you would rather see someone laid back and less intense, who isn't so gung ho about diet restrictions, you should. There are probably a lot of doctors who aren't quite as passionate or immersed in the latest science, who aren't as black and white about nutrition. They might also not root out what's really wrong. She can adjust to your comfort level, but maybe you know already that you can't or don't want to invest very much in your health issue. I was skeptical about natural medicine, but I learned, eventually, that a person has to practice skepticism with all doctors and just be responsible for understanding what he's being asked to do/take, whether it's a PCP or naturopath.

Dr. Marina is a big joker a doctor. She claims she has 10 years of experience. During the visit, when I was asking her questions, she was googling on the computer for answers. She wanted me to pay her$700 and I walked out of the office. I told her that I am going to sue for lack of competence and negligence in the state of Connecticut.

Is she nice? Sure! Very personable! But she does not have the knowledge and experience that I have been accustomed to from other healthcare practitioners. I had to move and tried her and was disappointed. A friend also went to her and she gave her the same template of care although we both went in for different issues. I have found a new once since and am so glad that I stopped pouring money to her without resolution. My advice to you: find a true healthcare professional that is looking to help you and your ailments--not someone who uses similar template remedies for varied problems--there are many better physicians out there--try them and you will see for yourself.

Worst naturopathic experience, she is not knowledgeable at all, although she claims she has 10 years experience. I think she needs to go back to school. During my visits which I wasted over $700 on, she was researching my condition on my paid time. I have seen other naturopaths and they knew their stuff she does not. I was thinking she should have done this on her own time and she is a doctor and should have prior knowledge. I came out of her visits frustrated and finally realized just to stop seeing her. I know my condition actually became worse because of her lack of knowledge. I hope others will think twice about seeing her. Just don't waste your money, time or jeopardize your health!
