My dad had been seeing this physician for over 20 years now. In that time, he has been misdiagnosed with cancer, twice, without having ordered any testing whatsoever. This traumatized my father needlessly. My dad had walking pneumonia that was never addressed by this doctor for well over one year until finally, he demanded to be treated for this. Only then Dr. Mathias prescribe antibiotics, though begrudgingly, and my father recovered completely. This last time, my father had been coming to see him for the last 3 years complaining about weakness, fatigue and rapid weight loss. He again was told that he had cancer, and without any testing having been done. Finally, we took him to an independent specialist who ordered the appropriate tests where she found both carotid arteries completely blocked and initiated treatment for his extremely high cholesterol and has him scheduled for a treatment plan to address this very dangerous condition that Dr. Mathias completely overlooked. It appears that he is not too interested in caring for his geriatric patients because he figures that they're ready for the "glue factory" anyway..Absolutely disgraceful and a grotesque display of carelsessness and incompetence. Someone report this doctor before he kills someone.

Dr. Mathias totally takes time to hear you out , he does not rush you. Dr. Mathias is very complete in his running tests. You will like Dr. Mathias his bedside manner is great. If his staff messes up he really gets on them for it. He really really cares for his patients.
