Dr. Giardino is really good. However her staff is horrible. No one answers the phone and no one returns calls. There is no communication available except for appointments. I have never had so many problems getting prescriptions with any other doctor like I have with them. I had to physically go to the office to try to get them to renew a prescription. They were rude and nasty and kicked me out. Horrible people who don't care about their patients. It's a shame because the doctor is very good but after the first couple visits you don't see her anymore. You see her sister who has terrible bed side manner. Please don't see this office.

I have never been to a more abrasive, rude and uncaring doctor’s office in all of my MANY years! I tried to set up an appointment on the phone. I was on hold for over an hour before being cut off. Finally I got an appointment, and after waiting 3 months, I was told my appointment was cancelled because I was 10 mins late. I was 20 mins EARLY for my actual appointment, but 10 mins. late for the time allotted for paperwork. ( I was told the Doctor was already behind at 8:30am) I had trouble finding a parking space, had gone into the wrong building at the medical center. I had tried to verify her location the day before but was kept waiting on hold for over an hour before being cut off AGAIN. The office manager greeted me with this announcement. She was extremely hautey, smug, nasty and with a smirk on her face, enjoyed telling me that she was canceling me. She is a bully! I had waited months for this appointment. She didn’t know my medical problem nor did she care. It’s obvious she enjoys her power and implements it to the enth degree. I wonder if the doctor knows this? I will never find out because I will never be back. So Dr. Karen Giardino good bye, it was nice never getting to know you. The atmosphere at your office is toxic. A. Napierala

Visited the office in 2017...long story short...was overmedicated and horrible side effects..honestly almost killed me....took 2 years to balance everything again...Would never recommend her office or staff.....PUSH medication instead of looking at root cause. I have reversed my thyroid Hashimotos with going keto and now carnivore.

I decided to become a new patient due to my last endo. leaving the area, so I had to start all over again and this was the only place that didn't have a waitlist. The Dr. her self is kind and easy to talk to but I've only gotten to see her once in a 2 year span. I get stuck with her sister the NP. She is well dressed but poor mannered. She will gaslight you and treat your diagnosis like it's nothing and will tell you to live with it and take a pill. If you're looking to find the root of your disease and how to reverse or manage the cause of it do not go here. ALSO they have moved twice so I've been to 3 different offices in my short time here. Big red flag! My sister joined as a patient also and she would go to her appointment after each move and they wouldn't have her on the schedule due to their unorganization and constant office jumping. They are unapologetic and at all 3 offices this doctor has been in, she always has the worst front office staff.
Stay clear!

My husband and myself have been patients for several years. I can unequivocally say Dr. Giardino is the best physician we have . Let me elaborate. She will articulate and decipher all your labs, review all your meds, make adjustments based on your labs and/or complaints or symptoms. She is patient and understanding. Always encouraging if you lost weight. Excellent care ! Actually does care. Staff does change , however, the world is evolving and if she is a good teacher , perhaps they have gone on to learn more?!? Staff always professional and courteous.

Everyone from the receptionists to the nurse, nurse practitioner and the doctor were very courteous, professional, and efficient. They explained everything so well and were never condescending, as so many of the other doctors reviews I have read. I am very pleased with this doctor and I am glad that I found her.

Very demeaning & unprofessional . I will never go back . Wouldn’t refill my script until I came in for appointment which meant I would have to go without my medication which I’ve been taking everyday for over 45 years

Rudest staff I have ever experienced. I was 6 months pregnant and showed up for my appointment but because I couldn't pay the FULL balance of 80 dollars at the time of my appointment they refused to see me and sent me harassing letters on how they are disappointed in me for not being able to pay my full balance. I have a high deductible was seeing 4 doctors because I had a high risked pregnancy and was out on disability due to being pulled out for bed rest. Out of all my doctors office this was literally the ONLY place that could not understand why I had to make payments. They are the ONLY ones who refused to see me, You could not pay me to go back there again

Unfortunately she is one of the only good endocrinologists around. She goes through nursing staff like crazy and her office staff is always changing. I go for an appointment every 6 months and every time the entire staff is new. That is NOT a good sign. DR Giardino has managed my thyroid for years. I am now seeing her sister who I must say is totally lacking in a bedside manner and is extremely short with you. I understand you only have so much time to spend with a patient but Jesus! I only go here because I have to.

Doctor Giardino has been extremely helpful in managing my hyperthyroidism. She is knowledgeable and caring and has a great sense of humor. She went above and beyond concerning my specific situation moving out of state. I am extremely grateful. My last visit I noticed the office staff had changed and I must say for the better. The previous staff was rude in person and on the phone. A bad office staff is a reflection of the the doctors entire practice. I would recommend Dr. Giardino to anyone.
