I took a bad fall and was rushed to the ER where I was met by Dr. Ford. Upon viewing the x-rays and CT scan, Dr. Ford patiently and competently explained the damage I had done to my knee. He used a model to explain that, in addition to underlying arthritis, I had badly fractured my knee and smashed my femur. He compassionately indicated I needed surgery as soon as possible and suggested the following morning...which was a Sunday! I can't tell you how confident I felt having him do the surgery. I found him very competent and thorough in his assessment and meticulous in the surgery itself. I highly recomend Dr. Ford to anyone who is considering orthopedic surgery. I am glad I stumbled on this website so I can give him the recommendation and credit he deserves.

I fell and injured my knee. I already knew that I had arthritis in my 1 knee. He saw the xray and said that it was severe osteoarthritis and I needed to lose weight. He was somewhat condescending and suggested I go to a weight loss group===funny, nothing is wrong with my right knee I told him the pain increased when I twisted my knee, he didn't want to hear that. Said the xrays showed a lot of arthritis because I weighed so much. No planning to see this guy again. Feel free to go if you are overweight, he was very demeaning. (Went to another Surgeon who told me I had spurs in my joint and a disclocated knee).I'd avoid this guy----stick with Dr. Einhorn and Dr Aita from this group
