Dr. B is the best. I have congestive heart failure and have a pacemaker/defibrillator. Dr. B. replaced it once when battery got low. She is kind, considerate, professional, more knowledgeable than most cardiologists, and most of all she is dedicated to her patients. I have recommended her to my whole family.

Dr. Mahnaz Behboodikhah was initially a nice doctor. On follow up visits I found her to be rude, in a hurry and gave me an insecure feeling with my treatment of my fibrillation. needless to say I am no longer going back to see her. I found a kinder and more caring Dr. in NB that can address my fibrillation and get it under control.

Very intelligent, hard working and knows her field well. Follows up very well with personalized patient care. Her staff is also excellent. Most of them have been with her a long time. That says a lot.

Dr B basically saved my life in 1997 when a staff infection, endocarditis , took out my aortic valve & almost killed me. She assembled a great team of infectious disease specialist, cardiac surgeon, eye specialist, She proved to be extremely competent, compassionate , and comforting in a very scary, life threatening situation. I would not hesitate to work with her again.

She said my wife's aunt needed a pacemaker. She performed surgery to install one. The surgical site and the pacemaker became infected with MERSA Staph and another life threatening infection. Ultimately, she had to remove it. Then, almost two months later when the life-threatening infections had been cleared up via six weeks of an antibiotic via an IV, she said the pacemaker did not have to be re-inserted! The implication we got was that it was never necessary in the first place. Very poor experience and I would not recommend her.
