First let me say that Dr K and RNP Mike Hux are both fantastic and I would rather deal with any other problems to see them. I've been a patient for a very long time, with a lifetime prognosis. I've gone from loving the staff that was there to being blah about the staff today. The changes/staff turnover started when a new partner was brought in to help with the workload. As soon as he came in he started making huge changes. It went from feeling like I was meeting with family and friends to hating having to go into the office. Was recently told that in order to have an epidural done I had to pay $900+ dollars up front for my copay. Ok I get that but was told as I was waiting for treatment without any notice beforehand. And if I didn't have the money up front then I couldn't be treated no matter how much pain I was in.

I have been a patient for years. I have watched their practice bloom into a insurmountable volume. When you see the Dr it is for 5 mins, but it's not the dr. It's a physicians assistant who can't change anything without dr approval. I haven't spoken to my dr in months.. Don't answer questions directly. After appointment calling is difficult. Leaving messages for nurses that never call back. If you ask to talk to the manager then the nurse miraculously shows up but isn't helpful because of the workload they have, instead they complain about the amount of messages that they had to listen to.. Kinda crazy. Only a third of the time my scripts are correct and when they are not I have to wait and wait for them to be redone. The doctors are wonderful but the staff is rude and rushes too much. They are just horrid on the telephone. When you are physically in the office in front of the other staff the nurses and the physician assistant are kind, gentle and seem to really care.it seems a bit like Dr. Jekyll and Dr. Hyde's office because in person everybody cares but if you have a problem I need to call in nobody cares and you have to keep calling and bothering them until somebody will take the time to help you with your urgent problem.. I wish they could respect me as their customer and respect my time and dignity. Don't belittle, berate and patronize your patients on the phone for having issues that need urgent assistance. After speaking with other patients of Clear Water Pain Management I know for a fact I am not the only patient who feels this way. If it wasn't for the genius and miraculous doctors I would not be a patient there.
