I have been a patient of Dr. Nero’s for almost 10 years. He consistently listens to concerns and addresses them directly or, when necessary, by referrals to specialists.

When I felt I was having heart issues Dr Nero referred me with lightening speed to a specialist for a thorough set of tests. He has taken all of my various issues seriously responded with appropriate investigation and treatment. I have recommended him to friends and they are very happy with him. I do think that he is a shy person, which might effect how some people react to his interpersonal style

Is a very good doctor. Very thoughtful and tells you how it is straight up and I loved that about him .

I have had the same problem for three years. He does absolutely nothing.

Last year I was suffering major unusual breathing issues. At first I felt I was being looked after as I underwent a test for asthma, which came back negative. My second appointment I was sounding like I had a lung infection with a deep horse cough that would not go away. It had been lasting almost 4 months at this point. Dr. Nero told me if the issues continued to come see him the next month and that he would run chest exams. My symptoms did not change, I showed up for the next month appointment and was told "Well I can't send you for any further tests until you have had these symptoms for 1 year." I reminded him that he promised me this appointment he would send me for tests if the symptoms were still present, which they were. I asked what the reason for me coming in at all was then if not to proceed with the "chest exams", Dr. Nero had no answer and stated the symptoms needed to last longer...sounds as messed up now saying it as it sounded then. I walked out feeling so helpless and not understanding what was happening with my body. And I am a very healthy individual. The terrible cough continued on and in January 2020 I collapsed during a class feeling quite feverish. This cough lasted me almost 9 months. I'm sorry but you do not let a cough go neglected that long especially when the individual states it is unusual and they are not a smoker. Have no reason to return to my "Family Doctor". Would rather try my luck waiting in line at a walk in. Give my MONEY, because that seems to be the motivator for doctors like this peach, to someone who will DO THEIR JOB at least.

He was very dismissive when I told him my history and I felt like I have to convince him of my ailments which I have experienced for quite a while. Nothing appears to be their problem and there seems to be no accountability for professionalism or medical competency.

Glad I have this Doc as my family physician. I can talk to him and he listens to what I have to say. He and his staff have been very helpful in dealing with VAC paperwork. Recently during COVID he went out of his way to follow up by phone to connect with me. Maybe he's not right for everyone but he's absolutely fine for me.
