Dr. Sergio Sokol is s a board-certified Cardiologist "American Board of Cardiology, American Board of Nuclear Cardiology and American Board of Internal Medicine". He received his medical degree from Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine. With his breadth of knowledge and diagnostic experience, Dr. Sokol has consulted for hundreds of doctors on the East Coast. Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death and deterioration of life in the United States. Dr. Sergio Sokol just recently named Chief of Cardiology at St. John's Episcopal Hospital of Far Rockaway. Dr. Sokol has been awarded by Castle Connolly as Top Doctor for cardiology for thirteen consecutive years. He is recognized by his peers as one the leading cardiologist in the country and specifically leads the area of Cardiac Imaging. He leads a team of providers and nurse practitioners that provide coverage throughout the New York Metropolitan Region.
