Biography

I have been an assistant professor of neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine since 2000. I received my medical degree from the University of Texas San Antonio in 1983, and I completed my residency at the Tulane Medical Center in 1997. Following that I completed a fellowship in electromyography at Tulane Medical Center in 1998, and another fellow in behavioral neurology from UF in 2000.I am board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). I am also a staff physician at the Malcom Randall and Lake City Veteran Administration Health Care Centers, as well as director of the North Florida/South Georgia Multiple Sclerosis Center of Excellence.
