Kind and compassionate. She tested my father for dementia and was able to work with him despite his complaints about the nature of the evaluation. She was very sensitive in delivering bad news.

Please take others' comments on this site with a huge grain of salt because of the nature of online reviewing. I had nothing but positive and helpful interactions with Dr. Casher in the context of my mother's evaluation of cognitive and behavioral changes, which was a very difficult and traumatic experience during which I interacted with PLENTY of unprofessional and dismissive doctors. Dr. Casher was not one of them! I think this forum has attracted some of her patients who are involved in lawsuits for which she is working for the other side? If you are reading here, try to remember that only a select angry few come and leave a bad review.

Truly one of the worst I’ve seen. She needs to retire. Very rude, arrogant, condescending. It didn’t matter what I had to say. I have a TBI and she told me come on you’re not moving fast enough!! She got irritated when I didn’t know answers to her questions. Very impatient, unprofessional and cold. She works for insurance companies getting her pockets lined, writing reports they want. Very sad and in my opinion criminal. She said I was making things up, and pretending to have a brain injury. I was kicked in the head and had a wicked concussion. I ended up needing a major fusion operation. Yet her report said I was faking. It’s time someone turns her in. She gives Cooper a bad name.

Every negative review about Andrea J Casher is correct. She is very cold, unprofessional and straight rude. From the moment she meets with you everything seems pre judged and biased. The manner that she asks questions are very prying as if you are making your disabilities up. Andrea Casher is not credible to be doing what she is doing. Mishandling the health of others is not right of someone to do. Andrea Casher needs to be evaluated herself as she is highly unfit to be in the position that she is in. Do not seek her for any medical needs as she will not help you and turn you over to whatever medical intern she has at the time. What a joke of a "Doctor" if you can even call her one.

She is really sweet and seems to really know what she's talking about. Highly intellectual. I trust her judgment. Exactly what you are looking for with a highly sensitive topic like a dementia evaluation.

She was very unprofessional judged me before she even talked to me. Should of known it was going to be a problem when she made a comment that I was early to my appointment. Her intern did my test and it only took 1/2 hour, I had a similar test done before and it was 8 hours long. So tell me how can you evaluate someone if your not doing the test. My wife tried to call a month later to see if I had ADHD or spectrum autism since my 3 kids were diagnosed with those, maybe that's what made me answer the way I did.
Today I was told by another doctor that he no longer wants to see me because of Dr. Casher's comments about me. First of all not every patient is the same and nobody knows how anyone feels, just because the read books they don't know everything. Listen to your patient and not judge anyone.

Horrific! Left there hysterical. I felt like I was an inconvenience to her. I was there on a referral for autism assessment/evaluation. She flat out REFUSED to allow me to even take the assessment. Said I was not on the spectrum because "you are female and too well-spoken" that after a 10 minute introduction! It was not only an insult to me, but to autistics in general. FYI Dr. Casher, I was given a full assessment and diagnosed with being on the autism spectrum. She came off rude, arrogant and with zero bedside manner. She should have given me a formal apology for the heck I went through that day. Truly unprofessional and as cold as ICE. Stay away, look around for someone with more compassion. Trust me.

She was only with me for less than half an hour. Unprofessionally insinuated that I wake up late. She also asked prying questions that felt judgemental. I did not feel comfortable with her. Fortunately, I spent most of my time with a psychology intern. The intern seemed more knowledgeable than she did. He was also much more professional. Cooper should hire him instead.

I echo exactly the previous review: She is nothing more than a psychologist. She is highly unprofessional. Check her background, she is grossly uneducated in her alleged field of neurology which she has no real measurable credentials for.
