Dr. Chibaro office charges for visits even when Dr. is not seeing this patient and technician provides service, as in providing only a sample and leaving. Dr. Chibaro's style is "fast" and brusque, like fast food drive through; Dr. seems to listen to this patient, but Dr. gives quick diagnosis (that was inaccurate), and it seems he wants to provide answer and diagnosis immediately rather than wait and proceed cautiously; Dr. dictates notes immediately with medical jargon so patient can hear - although good, is unnerving to this patient because it feels too fast and not thorough; Dr. directed this patient too quickly expensive outpatient hospital procedure, that Dr. and Hospital charged beyond the medical insurance carrier cap and left this patient deeply in debt with copays/uninsured medicals. Days after costly proceedure, Dr. indicates procedure may have been unnecessary. This is why Dr. Chibaro's review is negative.

Surgical procedure with all related hospital and doctor charges incurred in thousands of dollars; a bladder infection which could have waited to clear with antibiotics and a conservative course of treatment incurring costs of less than one hundred dollars.

Dr. Chibaro is in my mind is the most experienced in his field. I did my research & spoke to many doctors prior to choosing him. Very down to earth, Listens to me and explains in detail his diagnosis.I can say that i feel very comfortable talking with him about my problems. His staff is polite, informative & very well trained. I would highly recommend him to anyone having urological problems. Ed thanks so much for taking the time to explain what i discussed with you. I have read other reviews in this post & totaly disagee with some negative comments. He is a Dr. that cares about his patients and tells you the truth up front. When you have a Dr. that you can trust and feel comfortable with and has the experiance he has you have what every patient looks for. Thanks Dave Levesque

I never had surgery with this doc and never will. He takes LOTS of vacations without regard to previously scheduled appointments. I had his staff call me and reschedule my appointment FIVE TIMES because he decided to be away. After the fifth attempt to reschedule, I gave up and had to pay $15 for my own records (which were not ready when promised so I had to back again to get them) and found a doctor gives a sh_t. GET SOMEONE ELSE!

Always a complete exam, explains and discusses everything. Uses a conservite approach to your problem which has saved me from NEEDLESS and PAINFUL surgery by another Urologist. Down to earth in his manners. I wish more doctors were as caring as "ED". Thanks to Doc Ed a

Chibaro and staff were extremely difficult to work with. Other medical professionals have referred to him as "Fast Eddy" due to his lack of punctuality on surgery day. God forbid you want your medical records faxed to your insurance company. The wait was approx. 1 month due to lost requests and you had to pay a $15.00 fee. Although Chibaro demonstrated knowledge in his field, he didn't take well to questioning. Pushing patients back to thier PCP, dodging responsibility, and "Mc-diagnosing" is this guy's MO. GET ANOTHER UROLOGIST!!!

I consulted Dr. Chibaro about difficulty urinating several years ago. He and staff were helpful in explaining causes, exam went fine, then did outpatient surgery (with anesthesia). All went well, problem solved, post-surgery exams also fine. He explained what was happening during exams and pre-surgery, and though he talks fast, I thought he was cordial and appropriate the entire time. I would go back to him based on my previous experience.

The best doctor I've used for prostate cancer. He may not be on time, but he is very knowledgable when it comes to Urology.

Did not enjoy the experience. I had a prostate examination and biopsy and there was too little privacy, too many extraneous people wandering around.
