She saved my life as I had breast cancer and my previous ob-gyn did not listen to my concerns because ithe cancer did not show up on the mammogram. She ordered an ultra-sound after the mammogram still did not show the cancer. The ultra-sound showed one of the cancers but the other one (near the bone) was found with a MRI. Had the mastectomy and chemotherapy. Cancer free today.

I have had two pregnancies overseen by Dr. Flippin-Trainer. I LOVE her as my doctor. Sometimes it is frustrating to get through to her on the office phone, but when I've asked she has always given me an alternate way to contact her. I've contacted her during off hours, and she has always been happy to communicate with me. I am considered a high-risk patient, and she has always listened to my concerns and taken a proactive approach to addressing the team that will be present at the birth. I would recommend Dr. Flippin-Trainer to any of my girl friends!

My first child birth was awful experience with dr. Flippin-Trainer. I wish I found that site earlier and seen the ratings. She is cold and not compassionate, never on time, not reliable, constantly forgets things. She made major mistakes during and after the birth and I had to go to ER the day after she sent me home from the hospital...

She accommodates my schedule which I love instead of what time is best for her. She is gentle and kind. She always relaxes my fears and seems to have my and my child's best interest in mind and never casts aside a fear I have just because she knows better, she's always reassuring. Also this is my second child I've went to her with, first one I had private insurance, this time I'm on Medicaid and she treats me no different! I am extremely happy with her as a Dr. And the person that is helping bring my children into the world. I guarantee you will not find a better OB!

Dr. Flippin Trainer failed to order the Rogam shot, a very easy and necessary thing to avoid developing RH sensitivity that could harm/cause you to miscarry future pregnancies. She was impossible to get in touch with and never returned my calls when I tried to schedule a 6 week post delivery checkup and get the records of my RH antibody test. I would NOT recommend her to anyone.

I just delivered my first child with Dr. Flippin and I was very disappointed. I knew she was a woman of faith but, unfortunately, that did not come out in her treatment of me as a patient: little communication (impossible to contact outside office visits, would not give out her cell phone, rarely replied emails), no follow-up (did not even check my c-section incision a few weeks after the operation), no going beyond the minimum level of care (examining me in the maternity ward hallway, for instance). But what was really scary was her recklessness at my delivery. She failed to identify fetal distress in my baby, even though I was leaking a lot of meconium. The baby was ultimately fine and born via c-section, but he was unnecessarily exposed to hours and hours of distress, a situation that could have been easily avoided… Overall, I didn’t feel confident in her competency as a physician at my delivery and would not recommend her to others.

This Dr. punctured my bladder during a simple surgery causing me pain, time off work, extra medical bills. I would not reccoment her. I have my records showing the post op report that clearly shows evidence of her mistake yet she has not appologized or offered to help with my additional medical bills or expences. I had to stay a week in the hospital and 6 weeks off work to recover from what she did.
