Biography

Dr. Gregory J. Dehmer, MD, is a Prof. of Medicine at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, also serving as Medical Director of Quality & Outcomes at the Cardiovascular Institute. He earned degrees from Carroll Univ. & Univ. of Wisconsin. He trained at UT Southwestern Medical Center, served in the US Air Force, and held positions at UT Southwestern, Univ. of North Carolina, Scott & White Clinic, and Baylor Scott & White Health. Dr. Dehmer has been a past president of SCAI, served on ACC's Board of Trustees, contributed to numerous national guidelines, and is an emeritus member of NCDR. He's published extensively, served on editorial boards, and is a Master Fellow of ACC & SCAI.
