Dr. Cox is an excellent doctor. She has been my kids' pediatrician for many years. The only thing that can be annoying about her is she likes to refer my kids out to different specialists quite often and send them to the ER, but other than that she is a very knowledgable, caring and capable doctor. She probably saved the life of one of my children. He had a congenital birth defect that was misdiagnosed when he was a baby and she suspected there was a problem when most other doctors would have dismissed it. Even the specialist was impressed she caught it.

I took my 3 yr. old there for her wellness visit and for vaccines. Dr. Cox seems to think my 3 year old is underweight (she's petite) and suggested I put her on Ensure for a month, then go back & see if it helped. If not, she said they can then run tests on her organs.. My child is 28 pounds and healthy. She has a small build. She os gorgeous and healthy. Ensure is nothing but corn syrup and sugar water. Why not suggest healthy fats and proteins instead? She also suggested I follow up w/ a neurologist and get my daughter a speech evaluation when there is no reason for it at all. In fact, she didn't even attempt to see how well my daughter spoke. Seems like they want to do unnecessary testing and referrals to their dr. friends. I am looking for a different ped. for my kids.

I don't really have anything bad to say about dr. cox, however she does try to push vaccinations. I declined the flu vaccines for my children and she looked at me like I am stupid and she wanted to know why. I don't like when health care providers treat patients like they don't know what is best for them or their kids.
