I made an appointment with Dr. Norris after I could not see the doctor originally referred to me by my orthopedic doctor. He (my orthopedic doctor) wanted to verify with an EMG test the need for endoscopic surgery due to a pinched nerve in my neck which caused me quite a bit of pain that would not subside. What luck! I could not have found a better doctor in Dr. Norris. He was thorough, explained the procedure to me and my wife, answered all our questions and was very down to earth. His staff was equally as friendly, accommodating, and professional.
Most of my experiences with doctors have been positive, but none better then what I experienced at Northern Arizona Orthopedics with Dr. Kyle F. Norris.

Dr Norris and his staff are attentive to the needs of each patient, defining the best approach for that person at that point in time. Yes, this sometimes takes a little extra time and we, as patients, like to talk about our aches and pains so we often use up more of our allotted time than polite. But I am provided the best care in the cleanest facility from the most knowledgeable staff in Northern Arizona.

The staff has always treated me with care and understanding almost as if they knew exactly the pain I was experiencing. They go out of their way to relieve my anxiety with the spinal injections and we laugh and joke to lighten the mood.

How does one say in all honesty that Dr Norris is the best around at listening, understanding and knowing how to help a patient? By having gone to other pain specialists who don't listen, don't seem to understand the pain we are feeling and doesn't seem to have the medical knowledge to correct our injuries.

Please remember that our pain took a long time to develop and we must allow time for our bodies to heal under Dr. Norris' care, but trust me as an excellent example with three back surgeries already, Dr. Norris can reduce/relieve your pain levels.

i think hes a genius. i had been suffering from fibromyalgia for years and went to him for back pain. he put me on lyrica which along with all my other pain meds made it more bearable
when he stuck the needle in my back to get to where to put the medication he didnt give me a numbing shot before but used music to distract me from the pain. his assistants were jovial and profeessional.. the pain was bearable and perhaps it was the way he was trained not to give a numbing shot. they played my favorite music which i got into an forgot about the pain .,.i used to joke around with him because both had long hair and he a great dr and very personable. he actually got his hair cut shorter than mine before my therapy was finished. people would freak when i said said hey longhair get a haircut but he continued what he was doing and then turned around and greeted me. the whole office breathed a sigh of relief.
ive recommended him to everyone i know who has a pain problem

Very friendly and upbeat physician. Seemed to really know his "stuff" about EMG's, as I have had more than my share in a lifetime. He reported the results promptly and they were easily understandable. The only down side was the wait time, as seems classic bad manners in most all physicians' offices.

My Mother who is 94 yrs old and on ACHSS and medicare fell and injured her back. I tried many doctors and no one would see her. Dr. Norris saw her the same day and had Dr Cashmore check her out also. To make this shorter. She was admitted to the hospital and found to have extremely low sodium levels. I feel that Dr.Norris and Dr. Cashmore saved her life. If she hadn't been seen she possibly would have lapsed into a coma or died. Thank you for caring.

Dr. Norris took the time to explained everything. His attitude is one of a caring doctor. We asked questions and he answered them--the answers were not what we wanted to hear, but they were what we needed to hear. We had no problems with anyone--all the staff were very nice.

Dr. Norris and his staff are very professional. They assisted me with understanding my recent MRI. We discussed the options and I will be getting physical therapy. Both my husband and I have used this office and are more than satisfied.
